Ceramiche Caesar, dopo il riscontro positivo dello scorso anno, ha lavorato per costruire e riproporre uno strumento dal carattere creativo e funzionale che possa ispirare progettisti, architetti, designers e tutti gli addetti ai lavori. Le fonti d’ispirazione per la realizzazione della rivista sono molteplici e i cura-tori si sono avventurati in giro per il mondo, partecipando a eventi culturali di spicco, fiere specifiche di settore, mostre d’arte, sfilate di moda, ed hanno analizzato le opere architettoniche più avveniristiche e gli sviluppi più avan-zati del design. È stata tracciata una rotta stilistica e sono stati identificati tre macro trend che cercano di captare il futuro e che abbracceranno il mondo del Design, dell’Architettura e dell’Interior: REVERB, PEACEFUL e RISE.L’azienda oltre che descrivere nel dettaglio le caratteristiche di ognuno di essi attraverso moodboard di materiali, texture grafiche e gamma colore, ha cercato di dare una propria visione, realizzando un interno che potesse racchiudere in maniera concettuale quelle che sono le caratteristiche intrin-seche dei trend. A completamento inoltre ha aggiunto una serie di quattro ambienti d’interni dove poter valorizzare i materiali di riferimento che ha nel suo portfolio e che caratterizzeranno le proposte della nuova stagione pro-gettuale di Ceramiche Caesar.

È questa dedizione per la continua ricerca estetica e tecnica che ci spinge a confrontare, selezionare, rielaborare e progettare con il fine di poter offrire i migliori prodotti in grès porcellanato made in Italy. Questo significa per noi cultura della materia.

INTROVIAGGIARE, OSSERVARE I PARTICOLARI, INTERPRETARE LA MATERIA.

After last year’s positive response, at Ceramiche Caesar we have wor-ked to create and offer a creative and functional tool capable of inspiring architects, designers and all professionals of this field. There are many sources of inspiration behind the magazine. In fact, the editors have explored the world, taking part in prominent events, trade fairs, art exhibi-tions and fashion shows. Their journey has also been a chance to analyse the most futuristic architecture and the latest developments of design. A route of style has been traced and three macro-trends have been identi-fied. These trends wish to capture the future and encompass the world of Design, Architecture and Interior Decoration: REVERB, PEACEFUL and RISE.Apart from describing the characteristics of each trend in detail, by me-ans of mood boards of materials, textures and colour palettes, we have attempted to give you an idea of our own vision by creating an environ-ment that expresses the concept and intrinsic features of each trend. To complete the project, we have added four interior environments that highlight the reference materials of our portfolio and that will characterise the new season of design at Ceramiche Caesar.

This continuous commitment to aesthetic and technical research leads us to compare, select, re-elaborate and design for the purpose of offering the best Made in Italy porcelain stoneware products. This is what we mean by culture of material.

Il futuro ritorna al passato. L’estetica contemporanea è influenzata dai riverbe-ri stilistici del passato. La ricchezza delle grandi epoche ritorna per ispirare il nuovo. L’antico e il moderno s’incrociano portando con sé influenze extra-con-

tinentali. Gli anni settanta insieme a riflessi stilistici nord-europei contribuiscono alla definizione del trend. Raffinati decori recitano il ruolo chiave di meravigliare e stupire attraverso ricchezza espressiva. I caldi metalli, gli ottoni, gli ori, si distin-guono tra i colori cupi e sommessi delle superfici. Riflessi e colpi di luce si com-pensano con le superfici opache. Accenni floreali, venature lignee, splendenti raffinatezze e toni profondi. The future returns to the past. Contemporary aesthetics are influenced by stylistic reflections coming from the past. The richness of great eras returns to give life to something new. The ancient and the modern meet and bring

along influences from other continents. The Seventies and the style of Northern European countries contribute to define the trend. Refined decorations play a key role to enchant and surprise by means of a great richness of expression. Warm metal tones, brass and gold stand out on the sombre and discreet colours of the surfaces. Reflections and plays of light are compensated by matt surfaces.Floral accents, the veins of wood, a luminous refinement and deep tones. Il grès a carattere materico si distende nell’ambiente con eleganza. La porta, la grande finestra e il tetto di legno contrastano in armo-nia con i colori della posa ceramica ad effetto pietra. Lo specchio

romboidale con incisioni geometriche e il mobile verde laccato lucido con particolari in ottone e angoli arrotondati, riconducono ai disegni degli anni settanta. E’ un ambiente ricco, con abbondanza di dettagli e rifiniture. Il vaso in ottone gioca con il contrasto di ombra e luce. La seduta morbida presenta nella trama del tessuto un mix di diver-se referenze che raccontano una storia multiculturale. Il pavimento scelto per questo ambiente è PORTRAITS STROMBOLI 120X120 mentre a parete troviamo PORTRAITS VERSILIA 30X120 con posa orizzontale sfalsata.

REVERB FOR CAESAR

Stoneware with a substantial character extends across the environment with elegance. The door, the large window and the wooden beam ceiling create a harmonious contrast with

the colours of the stone-effect ceramics. The lozenge-shaped mir-ror, with its geometric engravings, and the glossy lacquered green sideboard, with brass details and rounded corners, recalls the de-sign of the Seventies. It is a rich environment, full of details and fi-nishing touches. The brass vase plays with the contrast of shadow and light. The upholstery of the soft divan is a mixture of different references that tell a tale of many cultures. The floor chosen for this room is PORTRAITS STROMBOLI 120X120 and the wall is PORTRAITS VERSILIA 30X120, installed in an a horizontal off-set manner.

La complessità del minimale. Eteree ambientazioni e ovattate atmosfere de-finiscono il trend. L’essenzialità è solo apparente, come un velo coprente, raggiunta tramite una complessità progettuale. Calma e serenità si diffon-

dono negli ambienti di rarefatta bellezza. I rivestimenti esprimono solidità e al contempo sensazioni di morbidezza. Toni caldi avvolgono l’individuo e l’archi-tettura è esaltata con semplicità. La tavolozza colore si vivacizza solo con punte acquerellate, pacate, senza eccessi tonali. Le decorazioni dalla pulita geometria s’innestano a movimentate onde grafiche creando combinazioni inaspettate. Toni su toni, opache trasparenze, sfocature e innesti materici.

The complexity of minimalism. Ethereal and subtle atmospheres define the trend. The minimal appearance is only an illusion, like a veil that covers, reached through a complex design project. Peace and serenity pervade en-

vironments with a rarefied atmosphere. Coverings express both solidity and, at the same time, a feeling of softness. Warm tones surround the individual and architecture is highlighted with simplicity. The colour palette becomes more vi-vacious only with water-colour tones, which are subtle and never too bold. De-corations feature clear-cut shapes, which mingle with graphical waves to create unexpected combinations. Il senso di pace e l’atmosfera rilassante trovano traduzione nei ma-teriali come la parete divisoria in vetro opaco e la scala con gradini di abete chiaro. Lo stesso materiale è utilizzato per la mensola bas-

sa che ospita vasi in ceramica con la particolarità illusoria del soffice. Lastre di rame con spazzolatura a specchio di diverse misure dona-no un punto luce aggiuntivo all’ambiente. Il divano in tessuto grigio chiaro mantiene una promessa di morbidezza e la trasparenza del tavolino retroilluminato effetto fumé a forma di parallelepipedo è sin-tesi del minimale. La complessità e raffinatezza progettuale di Layers vestono il pavimento nella variante colore COLD03 120X120. L’a-rea salotto presenta il tappeto ceramico LAYERS COLD02 con posa 60X60 mentre nel rivestimento a parete troviamo LAYERS COLD01 60x120 a posa orizzontale.

The materials are the perfect translation of the feeling of peace and the relaxing atmosphere, such as for instance the opa-que glass dividing wall and the staircase with its light spruce

steps. The same material is used for the low shelf, carrying cera-mic vases that appear to have a soft texture. Sheets of copper with a mirror-effect and of different sizes offer additional light to the environment. The divan, with its light grey upholstery, keeps a pro-mise of softness and the transparency of the back-lit coffee table, made of smoky coloured glass, and characterised by a parallele-piped shape, is a synthesis of the minimal style. The complexity and refined design of Layers has been chosen for the floor in the COLD03 colour and 120X120 size. The living room area features the LAYERS COLD02 ceramic carpet with a 60X60 installation. The walls are tiled with LAYERS COLD01 60x120, installed horizontally.

L’ascesa dell’imperfetto. La distanza tra industria e artigianato si abbrevia. La collaborazione di due scuole di pensiero agli antipodi cresce. Le gestualità di bottega sono riprodotte dalle nuove tecnologie che reinterpretano e cat-

turano i tratti tipici della manualità. Le imperfezioni divengono tratti identificativi del trend, e toccando con mano le superfici ceramiche, è possibile sentire la matericità che per anni aveva lasciato il passo al perfezionismo industriale. Il tatto è sollecitato tanto quanto la vista. Le virtù artigianali sono rivalutate. Gli arredi si elevano, le superfici esprimono un nuovo linguaggio architettonico.Nodi, intrecci, incroci grafici, strutture visive, graniglie e raffinatezza grezza.

The rise of imperfection. The distance between industrial products and the work of craftsmen becomes smaller. The cooperation between two diffe-rent schools of thought increases. The gestures of workshops are recreated

by new technology that reinterprets them and captures the typical features of hand-made products. Imperfection becomes a distinctive feature of the trend. Touch the ceramic surfaces ceramic to feel the material that for years was hidden by industrial perfectionism. Touch is urged as much as sight. The value of craft-smanship has been re-valued. Furnishings surfaces express a new architectural language. L’appenderia di fattura artigianale è ricavata da un unico pezzo intagliato di betulla. Le bretelle di cuoio sono ricontestualizzate e fungono da cinghie di supporto. Gli sgabelli hanno la superficie

esterna lasciata grezza e i piedi sono ricavati a scavo nel tronco. Il tavolino basso rotondo presenta il piano e parte dei piedi laccati nero lucido, in contrasto con la parte bassa lasciata invece al naturale. Il tappeto è realizzato con un trama ad intreccio greggio, con un mix di pigmenti e tinture che all’apparenza risultano casuali. TECNOLITO MAGNESIUM 120x120 con effetto marmorizzato si distende in modo uniforme a pavimento. A parete trova spazio il grès effetto quarzite di INNER CLIFF 60X120 con posa verticale. Il vibrante contrasto tra le due superfici definisce l’ambiente con semplicità.

A single piece of birch has been cut to create the artisan-ma-de clothes rack. Leather braces have been reinterpreted to serve as belts for support. The outer surface of the stools

has been left rough and the legs are cut directly out of the log. The low and round coffee table has glossy black details such as the surface and part of the legs, which contrast with the lower section that has been left rough. The carpet is characterised by a rough weave and a mixture of pigments and dyes that have a random appearance. TECNOLITO MAGNESIUM 120x120 with its marble effect extends evenly over the floor. On the walls, the quartzite ef-fect of INNER CLIFF 60X120, installed vertically, plays the leading role. The vibrant contrast between the two surfaces defines the environment in a simple manner.
