Mc MASTER CHAMPIONSCongratulations once again to our Ladies who have won theMcMaster’s Cup for the second time in the three years thatthey have been participating in that competition. Their firstsuccess was in 2010. Last year they lost out to Knock in thefinal. This year Crumlin and Knock went head to head again in the final which was held at Ballymena Bowling Club. Before the ink had time to dry they have done it again !Our Ladies have brought home the silver again havingbeaten Greystones in the LBLI. Open Challenge Cup atLeinster B.C. Congratulations to Lady Captain Joan Doyle and all our Ladies as they bring their season to a very successful conclusion.

Not even the grey skies over Leinster could dampen the delight as our Ladies celebrate their win.

It is with sadness we report the death of Owen O’Callaghan this week. We extend our sincere condolences to his wife, Phyllis and children Noreen, Marian, Eoin and Valerie. Owen was a member of CrumlinBowling Club for over 20 years and wasconferred an Honorary Member in 2010.May he rest in peace.
