Size of WtE plants keep raising: the processing capacity for single grate line in China starts from min. 600 t/d to max. 870t/d.

More strict emission standard: most of the new WtE projects are compliance with 2010/75/EU directive.

Additional Opex on leachate treatment: leachate from high moisture MSW is common in developing countries
