During my gap, in 2014/2015, I qualified as a Yachtmaster Coastal Skipper with Commercial Endorsement, Dinghy Instructor, Advanced Powerboat and Advanced PADI diver, travelled through Singapore and Australia, and completed a contract as Deck Cadet on a Supramax Dry Bulk vessel trading Europe and South America. Australian born, and a UK/Australian dual national, I have lived in Australia, Denmark, The Netherlands, Qatar, Oman and the UK, and attended international schools in Denmark, and The Netherlands, and Boarding Schools in the UK and France. These experiences have combined to give me a balanced outlook on life, and exposed me to different cultures, norms and languages. I am an all-rounder in sports, from sailing to ball sports, climbing, diving, skiing, and riding and enjoy the variety and different disciplines they require. I enjoy most outdoor pursuits – whatever I choose to do, I put everything into it. Having been a Sergeant in the CCF at school has developed my communication and leadership skills, as I enjoy working in and leading teams. As a Teacher at a boarding school, I am used to working with and leading large groups of children in the classroom and on the sports field, as well as providing pastoral care to them outside of timetable hours.
