V RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

1. Ph.D. Work:

Single crystals of hexakis(pyridine N-oxide) transition metal ion complexes have been

studied using EPR spectroscopy. Host spin- lattice relaxation narrowing is also investigated for

hexakis (pyridine N-oxide)cobalt(II) complexes. In addition, attempt is made to study the site

symmetry and bonding of pyridone complexes using EPR as the probe. Further, IR and Raman

spectral investigations are carried out on various diars and dppe complexes.

2. Present Research:

Vibrational spectroscopy - Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy – Density functional

theory calculations – Molecular Docking - Bioactive - Nonlinear optical materials –

Characterization of nano materials – Functionalization of Carbon nanotubes and fullerene -

Electron spin resonance - Dynamic nuclear polarization studies – Nitroxyl spin probes –

Overhauser-enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
