Brief description of your last thesis/dissertation:
Final LL.M. thesis entitled: “The effects of international drug trafficking on the global economy. The role of banks
in the money laundering”:
The purpose of my LL.M. thesis is to bring general overview of the current situation of the drug trafficking
worldwide, with an analysis of the most important routes of drugs, the methods of administration and transportation
as well as the relationship between illegal drug trade and organized crime groups. Moreover the goal of this thesis is
analyze the role and the power of the drug market on the global economy and the international tools to prevent this
phenomenon. Particular attention is dedicated to banks involved in money laundering cases from drug trafficking
activities and the major recent scandals related to this crime.

United for a sustainable world”, and related issues including a feature on women

earthquake’s victims in
L’Aquila (Italy)
Due to the earthquake in my hometown L’Aquila, on April 2009, I participated
actively in the creation of the ONLUS “L’Aquila – Fino all’ultima pietra”.
Actually I’m also cooperating with the international ONLUS
“Savelaquilaproject”, working as a volunteer to develop first-aid program
looking to rebuild the ancient city, worldwide heritage.

Provide support for the preparation for several technical assistance missions and various high-level missions

the Italian Plenipotentiary Minister, Deputy Permanent
Representative, at the Permanent delegation of Italy at

Development) and, for two months, as a Project Consultant
for the OECD-University of Groningen study “Building
Resilient regions: the case of Abruzzo”. My work for the
OECD consisted in a specific research in "Citizens
participation after a natural disaster: potential and
challenges".
Colombia (Bogotá) March 2009 –
February 2011
In Colombia I worked as a Project Consultant at the United
Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), as a foreign
news reporter for the newspaper “El Espectador” and as a
professor of italian language and culture at the “Societá
Dante Aligheri – Comité de Bogotá”.
In Bogotá I also attended a Summer school in Human
Rights and International Humanitarian Law at the
University Sergio Arboleda, a Course in Monitoring and
Evaluation of Humanitarian Projects at the National
University of Colombia, and an advanced English course at
the “Centro Colombo Americano” of Bogotá. I also
collaborated with the news radio-network “UN Radio”
(official radio of the National University of Colombia), with
the Catholic University of Bogotá and the University Santo
Tomás.

bibliographic documentation and direct sources of
information necessary to my post-graduation thesis entitled
“The narco-guerriglia in contemporary international

as a volunteer with a local NGO named CORFAS and with
