� Head of the Department of Mathematics at Yarmouk University (Septem-ber 1, 2005 - Aug. 2007).� Time Table Officer of the department of Mathematics and Statistics atSultan Qaboos university (Sep. 2008-Jan. 2012). The department of math-ematics and statistics at Sultan Qaboos university is one of the largest de-partments in the university. There are more than 60 staff members involvedin teaching. The main duties of the time table officer are the following:• Preparing the time table for the department which usually involves

more than 120 different sections.• Deciding on and making the teaching distribution.• Suggesting the number of consultants needed each semester.• Preparing the teaching load for the whole department.

This requires dealing with bignumber of students from almost all colleges in the university.• Suggesting/implementing new delivery formats which help in improving

the teaching methods.

� Convener of the external examiner follow-up committee at Sultan Qaboosuniversity (2008). The duty is to prepare the department response on theexternal examiner report.� President of the Jordanian Mathematical Society (2003 - 2007).

10.1 Field of Specialization and Research Interest

My field of specialization is harmonic analysis. The precise topic of myresearch is rough integral operators which includes Singular integraloperators; Oscillatory singular integral operators; Marcinkiewiczintegral operators; and Maximal functions. In addition, I have someinterest in studying problems related to difference equations and theory ofmeans.
