A การติดต้ังอุปกรณ VDSL2 Router

คุณสามารถเชื่อมตอสายเคเบิลไดดังรูปท่ี (1)

1. เชื่อมตอสายโทรศัพทจากแจ็คโทรศัพทท่ีผนังเขากับ Splitter จากนั้นเชื่อมตอเครื่องโทรศัพทเขาท่ีพอรตโทรศัพทของ

Splitter โดยใชสายโทรศัพท

2. เชื่อมตอพอรต DSL ของ VDSL2 Router เขากับพอรตโมเด็มของ Splitter โดยใชสายโทรศัพท

3. เชื่อมตอพอรต LAN ของ VDSL2 router เขากับพอรต Ethernet ของคอมพิวเตอร โดยใชสาย LAN

4. เชื่อมตอหมอแปลงไฟฟาเขากับอุปกรณ VDSL2 Router และปลายอีกดานหนึ่งของหมอแปลงตอเขากับเตาเสียบไฟ AC

(CD-ROM) การต้ังคาโดยใชซีดีรอม C.1

1. ใส 3BB ซีดีรอม เขาไปใน ไดรฟซีดีรอม รอประมาณ 10 วินาที หากหนาจอแสดงดังรูปท่ี (30) ใหดําเนินการในขอท่ี 4

ตอไป หากยังไมแสดงดังรูปท่ี (30) ใหดําเนินการในขอท่ี 2 ตอไป

: หากไมสามารถใชแผน 3BB ซีดีรอมได ทานสามารถตั้งคา Username และ Password ดังในขอ C.2 หมายเหตุ

2. การเปดไฟลในแผนซีดีรอม เพื่อต้ังคา Username และ Password โดยวิธี Manual

ในกรณีท่ีไมสามารถเขาสูหนาเริ่มตนการติดตั้งโดยอัตโนมัติ ใหปฏิบัติดังนี้

2.1 สําหรับผูใช Windows XP

- คลิก Start> My Computer ดังรูปท่ี (23)

- ดับเบิ้ลคลิกท่ีไดรฟ User CD-ROM จากนั้นจะสามารถแสดงรูปท่ี (30)


2.2 สําหรับผูใช Windows Vista

- > Computer คลิกไอคอน ดังรูปท่ี (25)

- เปดไดรฟ CD-ROM และคลิกขวาที่ไอคอนของไฟล HG610_CD_TOOL


เลือก Run as administrator จากเมนู shortcut ดังแสดงในรูปท่ี(28). -

จากนั้นหนาจอจะแสดงดังรูปท่ี (30) และใหดําเนินการในขอท่ี 3 ตอไป

5. กดปุม NEXT>> ในทุกๆหนาซึ่งจะแสดงขั้นตอนการติดตั้ง จนกระทั่งถึงหนาท่ีใหใสชื่อผูใชและรหัสผาน

(Username and Password) ดังรูปท่ี (31)

6. ใสชื่อผูใชและรหัสผาน (Username and Password) ของทานซึ่งกําหนดโดย 3BB แลวกดปุม SAVE โปรแกรมจะ

ทําการตั้งคา และเชื่อมตออินเทอรเน็ตโดยอัตโนมัติ หลังจากที่ VDSL2 router VDSL2 router เชื่อมตออินเทอรเน็ตแลว

คุณสามารถใชงานอินเทอรเน็ตไดตามความตองการ

C.2 การต้ังคาโดยผานหนาเว็บ

น้ีไดมีการตั้งคาเบื้องตนสําหรับบริการอินเทอรเน็ตของ 3BB VDSL2 router ผูใชบริการสามารถตรวจสอบคาตางๆ

ไดเม่ือตองการ

วิธีการตั้งคาอุปกรณแบบงาย

1. เปด Browser เชน Internet Explorer (IE) แลวพิมพ แลวกดปุม Enter http://192.168.1.1/3bb


2. เม่ือปรากฏหนาตางดังรูปท่ี (33) กรอก Username และ Password ท่ีใชในการเชื่อมตออินเทอรเน็ต แลวคลิก SAVE

เพื่อบันทึก


3. เม่ือปรากฏหนาตางดังรูปท่ี (34) ใหคลิกปุม Yes เพื่อปดหนาตาง

วิธีการตั้งคาอุปกรณโดยเว็บคอนฟก

1. ใหเชื่อมตอสายเคเบิ้ลทัง้หมด และสายไฟของหมอแปลงไฟฟาตามรปูที่ (1) หนา 1 หลังจากการเชื่อมตอสายเคเบิล้และสายไฟเรียบรอย เปดเครื่อง VDSL2 และรอประมาณ 1-2 นาท ี

2. เปด Internet Explorer (IE) แลวปอนคา IP Address ของ Router คือ “192.168.1.1” ในแถบ Address แลวกด Enter


3. หนา Log on จะถูกแสดงขึ้นมา เพื่อใหใส ชื่อผูใชและรหัสผาน (Username and Password) จากนั้นคลิก Login

ชื่อผูใช (Username): admin, รหัสผาน (Password): 3bb

จากนั้นจะสามารถเขาไปยังหนาเว็บสําหรับการตั้งคาดังรูปท่ี (37) 4.


5. คลิก Basic > PTM เพื่อต้ังคา PTM ดังแสดงในรูปท่ี(38) และคลิก Submit.


6. คลิก Basic > WAN > Layer2 interface-ptm1 ในหนาการตั้งคา ใส username และ password ของคุณซึ่งกําหนดโดย

3BB และคลิก Submit เพื่อบันทึกการเปลี่ยนแปลง จากนั้น VDSL2 router จะเชื่อมตอกับโครงขายของ 3BB

โดยอัตโนมัติและพรอมสําหรับการใชงานอินเทอรเน็ต

การตรวจสอบการตั้งคาเน็ตเวิรคทานสามารถตรวจสอบการตั้งคาการโครงขายไดโดยการเลือกแท็บ Status ในหนาเว็บ ดูรูปท่ี (40)

หากคา IP Address วางเปลา แสดงใหเห็นวาการเชื่อมตอไมสมบูรณ ซึ่งคาท่ีถูกตองควรจะแสดงอยูในรูปแบบของ

202.xxx.xxx.xxx.


การแกไขปญหา (Trouble shooting) กรณีมีปญหาในการติดตั้ง VDSL2 router ใหปฏิบัติดังตอไปน้ี

1. ใหตรวจสอบการตอเชื่อม ของสายเคเบิ้ลและหมอแปลงไฟฟา วาการตอเชื่อมท้ังหมดถูกตอไวอยางถูกตองตามรูปท่ี 1

ตรวจสอบใหม่ันใจวา เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร ถูกตั้งไวให “Obtain IP address automatically” จาก DNS server อางอิง 2. ตามหัวขอ B

คําถามที่พบบอย การเรียกคืนคาเร่ิมตนอยางรวดเร็วทําอยางไร

การเรียกคืนคาเร่ิมตน กดปุม RESET ที่ดานหลังคางไว 6 วินาที หลงัจากเปดเครื่อง HG610 แลวปลอย

ถาหากไมสามารถเขา Internet ผานทางอุปกรณจะทําอยางไร

ขั้นตอนที่ 1 ตรวจสอบวาไฟสัญลักษณ POWER บนอุปกรณติดหรือไม

หากไฟสัญลักษณ POWER ไมติด ใหทําการตรวจสอบเพิ่มเติมดังน้ี :

1. แนใจวาเปดอุปกรณ 2. แนใจวาไฟจากแหลงจายไฟและตัวรับตรงตามความตองการที่อธิบายบนฉลากของเครื่องแปลงสัญญาณ

ถาแรงดันไฟฟาไมคงที่ เชน หากกระแสไฟสูงเกินไป หรือ ต่ําเกนิไป หามใชอุปกรณ ใหรอจนกวากระแสไฟจะกลับสูระดับปกติจึงใชงานอุปกรณ

3. แนใจวาอุปกรณเชื่อมตอกับเครื่องแปลงสัญญาณอยางถูกตอง

หากไฟสญัลกัษณ POWER ยังไมติด โปรดติดตอศนูยบริการ

ขั้นตอนที่ 2 หลังจากทําการเปดอุปกรณใหรอประมาณ 3 วินาที จากน้ันตรวจสอบวาไฟสัญลักษณ DSL ติดหรือไม

หากไฟสัญลักษณ DSL กระพริบระยะหนึ่ง ใหทําการตรวจสอบเพิ่มเติมดังน้ี :

1. แนใจวาตอสายโทรศัพทอยางถูกตอง สังเกตวาการเชื่อมตอของสายโทรศัพทและเครื่องแยกสัญญาณ

2. แนใจวาอุปกรณ หรือ สายโทรศัพทอยูหางจากเครื่องใชไฟฟาที่สรางสนามแมเหล็กหรอืสนามไฟฟา เปลี่ยนสายโทรศัพทหากจําเปน

หากไฟสัญลักษณ DSL ยังคงกระพริบและไมหยุดนิ่ง โปรดติดตอผูใหบริการเครือขาย

ขั้นตอนที่ 3 ตรวจสอบวาไฟสัญลักษณ LAN ติดหรือไม

ไฟสัญลักษณ LAN ไมติด ใหทําการตรวจสอบเพิ่มเติมดังน้ี :

1. แนใจวาเปดใชงานเครือ่งแปลงสัญญาณเครือขายของคอมพิวเตอร 2. แนใจวาตสายเคเบิ้ลระหวางอุปกรณกับคอมพวิเตอรอยางถูกตอง ถอดแลวเสียบสายเคเบิ้ลใหม หรือ

เปลี่ยนสายเคเบิ้ลหากจาํเปน

หากไฟสญัลกัษณ LAN ยังไมติดโปรดตดิตอศนูยบริการ

ขั้นตอนที่ 4 ตรวจสอบวาไดติดตั้งไดรเวอรของเครื่องแปลงสัญญาณเครือขายแลว ใช Windows XP เปนตัวอยาง

การตรวจสอบวาติดตั้งไดรเวอรของเครื่องแปลงสัญญาณเครือขายแลว ทําดังน้ี :

1. บน desktop คลิ๊กขวาที่ My Computer จากนั้นเลือก Manage.

2. ใน navigation tree ของหนา Computer Management เลือก Device Manager

3. ที่หนาตางดานขวาของ Computer Management คลิ๊ก Network adapters

เพื่อดูขอมลูเกี่ยวกับเครื่องแปลงสัญญาณเครือขายของคอมพิวเตอร

หากไมพบเครื่องแปลงสัญญาณเครือขาย หรือ เครื่องหมาย (?) หรือ (!) จะปรากฎถัดจากไอคอนเครื่องแปลงสัญญาณเครือขาย

คุณสามารถรูไดวาไดรเวอรของเครื่องแปลงสัญญาณเครือขายยังติดตั้งไมสมบูรณ ในกรณีน้ีใหทําการลงไดรเวอรใหม

ขั้นตอนที่ 5 แนใจวาใสช่ือผูใชและรหัสผานที่ซอฟตแวร PPP dial-up กําหนดถูกตอง

ช่ือผูใชและรหัสผานกําหนดโดยผูใหบริการเครือขาย

ขั้นตอนที่ 6 ตรวจสอบวาคุณสามารถใชซอฟตแวร PPP dial-up เพ่ือ dial อยางสําเร็จ

หากคุณไมสามารถใชซอฟตแวร PPP dial-up เพ่ือ dial อยางสําเร็จ ใหทําการตรวจสอบเพิ่มเติมดังน้ี :

1. หยุดซอฟตแวร PPP dial-up จากนั้นปดอุปกรณ หลังจากนั้น 5 นาท ี ใหเปดอุปกรณ จากนั้นใชซอฟตแวร PPP dial-up

เพื่อ dial อีกครั้ง

2. คืนคาเร่ิมตนของตัวอุปกรณ

หากยังพบปญหาอยู โปรดติดตอผูใหบริการเครือขาย

ขั้นตอนที่ 7 ตรวจสอบวา proxy server ของเว็บเบราเซอร มีการกําหนดคาอยางถูกตอง ใช Internet Explorer ท่ีติดตั้งบน Windows XP เปนตัวอยาง

การตรวจสอบ proxy server ของเว็บเบราเซอรวากําหนดคาอยางถูกตอง ทําดังน้ี :

1. เปด Internet Explorer.

2. เลือก Tools > Internet Options.

3. ในชอง Internet Options คลิ๊กแถบ Connections

4. ในชอง Local Area Network (LAN) settings คลิ๊ก LAN Settings

5. ในชอง Proxy server ของชอง Local Area Network (LAN) Settings ตรวจสอบ Use a proxy server for your LAN (These

settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections) วาไมไดเลือกชอง

ขั้นตอนที่ 8 พยายามเขาถึงหลาย ๆ เว็บไซตเพ่ือตรวจสอบวาอุปกรณสามารถเขาถึงเว็บไซตได

หากอุปกรณยังไมสามารถเขาถึงเว็บไซตได โปรดติดตอผูใหบริการเครือขาย

จะทําอยางไรถา Web page ไมสามารถแสดงระหวางการเรยีกดหูนา Web page และ สามารถปรากฎหลังจากรีสตารทอุปกรณ

ขั้นตอนที่ 1 แนใจวาอุปกรณ และอุปกรณอ่ืน ๆ เชน โทรศัพท เครื่องแฟกซ เช่ือมตอกับสายโทรศัพทผานเครื่องแยกสัญญาณ

สําหรับรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับวิธีติดตั้งเคร่ืองแยกสัญญาณ ใหดูรายละเอียดที่เกี่ยวของในคูมือ

ขั้นตอนที่ 2 แนใจวาสายโทรศัพทเช่ือมตออยางถูกตอง

หากสายโทรศัพทเช่ือมตอไมถูกตอง ความมั่นคงของการเชื่อมตอเครือขายจะไดรับผลกระทบ

ขั้นตอนที่ 3 ตรวจสอบตําแหนงของอุปกรณและคอมพิวเตอร ม่ันใจวาอยูหางจากเครื่องใชไฟฟา เชน ไมโครเวฟ ตูเย็น

หรือโทรศัพทไรสายที่สรางสนามแมเหล็กไฟฟาหรือไฟฟา

หากยังพบปญหาอยู โปรดติดตอผูใหบริการเครือขาย

หลังจากตดิตั้งอุปกรณบรอดแบนด อัตราการเขาถึงอนิเตอรเนต็ คณุภาพการโทร หรือ

การใชโทรศัพทจะลดอตัราการเขาถึงอนิเตอรเน็ตหรือไม

ไม อุปกรณจะใชการแบงความถี่ multiplexing (FDM) และ เทคโนโลย ีsplitter เพื่อแยกสัญญาณเสียงจากสญัญาณขอมูล

แมวาสญัญาณทั้งสองประเภทที่สงผานสายโทรศัพทหนึ่งจะบรรจุโดยคลืน่ความถี่ทีต่างกนั ดังนั้นจึงไมรบกวนกัน

ในกรณนีี้คณุสามารถใชโทรศัพทและเขาถึงอนิเตอรเนต็พรอม ๆ กันโดยไมลดคณุภาพของการโทร หรือ ลดอัตราการเขาถึงอินเตอรเนต็

A Install VDSL2 Router You can connect the cables according to Figure(1):

1. Connect the telephone jack on the wall to the LINE interface on the splitter with a telephone cable.

Connect the telephone to the PHONE interface on the splitter with a telephone cable.

2. Connect the DSL interface on the VDSL2 router to the MODEM interface on the splitter with a

telephone cable.

3. Connect the LAN interface on the VDSL2 router to the Ethernet interface on your computer with a

network cable.

4. Connect the POWER interface on the VDSL2 router to the power socket with the power adapter.

Interface or Button Description

DSL It is used to connect to the telephone jack on the wall or the MODEM interface on the splitter.

LAN1–LAN4 It is used to connect to the Ethernet interface on the computer.

RESET

You can press and hold the RESET button for over six seconds to restore the default settings of the VDSL2 router. Note: After you restore the default settings, your customized data is lost. Therefore, use this function with caution.

ON/OFF It is the power switch and is used to power on or power off the VDSL2 router.

POWER It is used to connect the power adapter.

Remark: You can see installation guide from the CD which provided in the box.

Blinking The VDSL2 router works in routing mode, and the WAN connection is set up. Data is being transmitted.

On The VDSL2 router works in routing mode, and the WAN connection is set up. But no data is being transmitted. INTERNET

Off The VDSL2 router is powered off. The VDSL2 router works in bridge mode. No WAN connection is set up.

Blinking The VDSL2 router is being activated.

On The VDSL2 router is activated. DSL

Off The VDSL2 router is powered off.

C.2 Setting via Web Page The VDSL2 router is pre-configured by 3BB for all internet services. You can check all the settings

manually at any time if needed.

Simple Set up Method

1. Open Web browser such as Internet Explorer (IE), type http://192.168.1.1/3bb then press Enter.

Verifying Network Settings Verify the network settings by selecting the Status tab of the web setup page. See Figure(40).

If the IP address is empty, it indicates that the connection is incorrect. The correct value should be

something like 202.xxx.xxx.xxx.

Troubleshooting If there is any problem with the VDSL2 router, try the following operations to fix the problem:

1. Make sure that all the cables and the power adapter are connected properly refer to Figure(1).

2. Make sure that the TCP/IP settings of your PC are correct. That is, the PC is set to obtain an IP address automatically from the DNS server. Refer to topic B.

FAQs How can I quickly restore the default settings of the terminal? To restore the default settings, press and hold the RESET button on the rear panel for over six seconds after the HG610 is powered on, and then release the button. What can I do if I cannot access the Internet through the terminal?

Step 1 Check whether the POWER indicator on the terminal is solid on. If the POWER indicator is off, perform further checks as follows: 1. Ensure that the terminal is turned on. 2. Ensure that electricity comes from the socket and that the power input from the socket

meets the requirements described on the label of the terminal power adapter. If the voltage is unsteady, for example, if the voltage is too high or too low, do not use the terminal. Wait until the voltage restores to its normal level, and then use the terminal.

3. Ensure that the terminal is properly connected to the socket through the power adapter. If the POWER indicator is still off, contact an authorized maintenance center.

Step 2 After powering on the terminal, wait for about three minutes. Then, check whether the DSL indicator on the terminal is solid on. If the DSL indicator blinks for a long time, perform further checks as follows: 1. Ensure that telephone lines are properly connected. Pay special attention to the

connections between the telephone lines and the splitter. 2. Ensure that the terminal or telephone lines are far from the electric appliances that

generate strong magnetic or electric fields. Replace telephone lines when necessary. If the DSL indicator still blinks and does not turn solid on, contact your network operator.

Step 3 Check whether the LAN indicator of the terminal is on. If the LAN indicator is off, perform further checks as follows: 1. Ensure that the network adapter of the computer is enabled. 2. Ensure that the network cable between the terminal and the computer is properly

connected. Remove and then insert the network cable or replace the network cable when necessary.

If the LAN indicator is still off, contact an authorized maintenance center. Step 4 Check whether the driver for the network adapter is properly installed. Take a computer that

runs Windows XP as an example. To check whether the driver for the network adapter is installed, do as follows: 1. On the desktop, right-click My Computer, and then choose Manage. 2. In the navigation tree of the Computer Management window, choose Device

Manager. 3. In the right pane of the Computer Management window, click Network adapters to

view the information about the network adapter of the computer. If no network adapter is found or if a question mark (?) or an exclamation mark (!) is displayed next to the icon of the network adapter, you can infer that the driver for the network adapter is not properly installed. In this case, re-install the driver for the network adapter of the computer.

Step 5 Ensure that you have entered the correct user name and user password that are required by

the PPP dial-up software. The user name and the user password are provided by your network operator.

Step 6 Check whether you can use the PPP dial-up software to dial successfully. If you cannot use the PPP dial-up software to dial successfully, perform further checks as follows: 1. Stop the PPP dial-up software and then power off the terminal. After five minutes,

power on the terminal, and then use the PPP dial-up software to dial again. 2. Restore the default settings of the terminal. If the problem persists, contact your network operator.

Step 7 Check whether the proxy server of the Web browser is correctly configured. Take the Internet Explorer installed on a computer that runs Windows XP as an example. To check whether the proxy server of the Web browser is correctly configured, do as follows: 1. Launch the Internet Explorer. 2. Choose Tools > Internet Options. 3. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Connections tab. 4. In the Local Area Network (LAN) settings group box, click LAN Settings. 5. In the Proxy server group box of the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings dialog

box, ensure that the Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections). check box is cleared.

Step 8 Try to access multiple Web sites to check whether the terminal can access these Web sites. If the terminal still cannot access Web sites, contact your network service provider.

What can I do if Web pages often cannot be displayed during Web page browsing and can be displayed after the terminal is restarted?

Step 1 Ensure that the terminal and other devices, such as telephones or fax machines, are connected to telephone lines through a splitter. For details about how to install a splitter, see the related description in the manual.

Step 2 Ensure that telephone lines are properly connected. If the telephone lines are improperly connected, the stability of the network connection is affected.

Step 3 Check the positions of your terminal and your computer. Ensure that they are far from electric appliances, such as microwave ovens, refrigerators, or cordless telephones, that generate strong magnetic or electric fields. If the problem persists, contact your service provider.

After a broadband terminal is installed, does Internet access degrade call quality or do telephone calls lower the Internet access rate? No. The terminal uses the frequency division multiplexing (FDM) and splitter technologies to separate voice signals from data signals. Although the two types of signals are transmitted through one telephone line, they are carried by different frequency bands. Therefore, they do not interfere with each other. In this case, you can make a telephone call and access the Internet simultaneously, without degrading call quality or lowering the Internet access rate.
