Adjectives ( tính từ) : Comfortable, expensive, cheap, hard, modern.

Verbs:

- break – broke- broken.

- Repair – repaired-repaired

- Luyện nghe đĩa track 68

- Nghe và đọc theo nhiều lần.

4. Đoạn hội thoại ( trang 58):

- Gạch dưới 1 gạch các tính từ và hai gạch các động từ đã được học

- Nghe đĩa track 69 (nhiều lần)

5. Grammar ( Lesson 2 – trang 59)

Long adjective: Adjective with more than 1 syllable ( tính từ dài: với hơn 1 âm trờ lên)

Ex: comfortable, expensive, interesting, beautiful, ,careful…

a. Comparative ( so sánh hơn với tính từ dài): long adjective + more + than

long adjective + less + than.

Airplane bed modern bed

Ex: The modern bed is more comfortable than the airplane bed.

The airplane bed is less comfortable than the modern bed ( chiếc gường máy bay

thì ít tiện nghi hơn chiếc gường mới hiện đại).

b. Superlative ( so sánh nhất với tính từ dài):

- The most + long Adjective

- The least + long adjective

- Syllable adjective ending in – Y ier and the – iest.

Ex: happy happier, the happiest.

Example : superlative long adjective:

Shorts : 10$ shirt: 50$ socks: 5$

The shirt is the most expensive. ( đắt nhất).

The socks are the least expensive ( ít đắt nhất).

- Good – better – the best.

- Bad – worse – the worst ( nghe và lặp lại tại track 71).

b. Talk about the pictures:

number 4.

Pictures 7,8,9: I think kite number 9 is the best. The kite number 8 is the worst.

The kite number 7 is better than kite number 9.
