We are pleased to inform you that YHAI, W.B. State Branch is organizingDarjeeling Family Camping at Owned LYH, heart of Darjeeling, near Rly.Station. Darjeeling is unique in its versatility. year is Darjeeling best. Cool Languid days with hardly a cloud in a sky of clearand uninterrupted blue, near by slopes, a luxuriant green in the blue hillsshimmering across the valley and the mighty Kanchenjunga range stands as amajestic background towering over everything

DATES :You may choose to report at the Base Camp at Licensee Youth HostelHotel Kadambari,beside Darjeeling Rly. Station, Darjeeling on any day of 05Nov, 08 Nov, 12 Nov, 16 Nov, 19 Nov, 23 Nov, 27 Nov, 30 Nov & 01 Dec,2014.Each group of 20 families accommodate only. Each family consists ofHusband, Wife & 2 Children of 12 yrs in age (Birth certicate should besubmitted at the time of reporting).

HOW TO REACH THE BASE CAMP:The Base Camp is at Youth Hostel

Hotel Kadambari, near Darjeeling Rly Station, Darjeeling is easily accessiblefrom any part of India by Air, Rail or Road, The Railway Station isNewJalpaiguri and the Airport at Bagdogra being the links to the outsideworld. From there avail Bus/Jeep/Taxi services to reach Darjeeling (90 km.) in3.0 hrs. Only YHAI members consists of Husband/Wife & 2 Children of 12yrs (Birth certicate should be submitted), Bottle feed should have their ownarrangement and inform YHAI at the time of registration.

FEES : Rs.5,000/- per family.

DURATION :The duration of the Camp for each family is 3 nights and 4days. Reporting is before lunch on the 1st day and departure after breakfaston 4th day. Extra stay is subject to availability of accommodation, onpayment basis

SCHEDULE :During the stay at Camp, families may visit surroundings.Jeeps are available from Base Camp. All the sightseeing shall be at your owncost. Our volunteers may help you in planning your programme .

CANCELLATION RULES:In case you are unable to join the programmeafter paying the participation fees, you will get refund Rs. 2500/- only,provided, your request is received directly in the State Ofce, 40B, GokulBaral St., Kolkata-700 012 before 15 days from the date of reporting. Norefund will, however, be admissible if such request is recieved after 15 days.

ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES:One attached wash room for everyfamily in constructed building.

FOOD & WATER SUPPLIES:Sufcient nutritious vegetarian food &pure clean drinking water will be provided. May carry water purier tabs.

WASHING OF CLOTHES STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING ALONG:Cotton Shirt andPants, Woolen Jersey and Wind-cheater, Inner Garments, Two pair thickwoolen socks and two pair cotton socks, Shoe/Sneakers and chappal,

Woolen gloves and Monkey cap, Light Rain Coat, Sun Cap, Towel, SunGlass, Torch, Water Bottle and water purier, Plate, Mug and Spoon,Packed Lunch Box, Needle and thread with spare Buttons, Toilet papers,Vaseline, Soap, Pen and Note Book, Medicine which you normally use athome. Optional: Camera, Musical Instruments.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:Burning of woods during camp re is strictlyprohibited., Smoking, drinking alcohol & drug abuse in the campus isstrictly prohibited.
