Vincent Van Gogh
Hello! I‛m Vincent Van Gogh. I was born in Holland in 1853. When I was a little boy, I liked drawing very much.
I began painting when I was about twenty-seven years old. I painted landscapes, portraits and still life.
When I was older, I worked as an art dealer for a few years and I travelled around France and went to England.
In 1888 I went to stay in the little town of Arles. The picture of my bedroom in Arles is one of my most well-known paintings.
In 1886, I went to live in Paris and I discovered the French Impressionists and learnt their techniques.
When I was in England, I worked as a teacher for a few months.
