informatie architect (sinds 1998)
— Rachel Botsman
"Collaborative Consumption, a new, emerging economy made possible by online social networks and fueled by increasing cost consciousness and environmental necessity”
— Rachel Botsman, Roo Rogers
"There are approximately 50 million power drills in American homes. The average power drill is used for no more than 13 minutes in its entire lifetime”
— Victor Papanek
This doesn’t make a lot of sense when it’s the hole you need, not the drill"

4de revolutie

design thinking
This approach is in large part a response to the increasing complexity of modern technology and modern business. That complexity takes many forms. Design thinking employs divergent thinking as a way to ensure that many possible solutions are explored in the first instance, and then convergent thinking as a way to narrow these down to a final solution.
Unlike analytical thinking, design thinking is a process which includes the "building up" of ideas, with few, or no, limits on breadth during a "brainstorming" phase.
The design thinking process has seven stages: define, research, ideate, prototype, choose, implement, and learn.
3 steps to creativity
1 2 3copy transform combine
Nothing is original, says Kirby Ferguson (Filmmaker and Remixer). “From Bob Dylan to Steve Jobs our most celebrated creators borrow, steal and transform”
— Woodie Guthrie
"take a tune, sing high when they sing low sing fast when they sing slow and you’ve got a new tune."
Everything is a remix

@rcallewaert
