    Installaton Overvew

We recommend that you confgure your pared AF-11 rados before ste nstallaton. Theovervew below summarzes the nstallaton procedure, and the subsequent sectonsprovde detaled nstallaton nformaton.

    Install the Duplexer(s) n the AF-11 rado.

Connect the arFber Ggabt PoE adapter to the DATA port, and connect yourcomputer to the MGMT port.

    Confgure the AF-11.

Install a ground wre and mount the AF-11 on the arFber AF-11G35 antenna (or acompatble antenna).

At the nstallaton ste, nstall the antenna wth the mounted AF-11 rado (see theantenna’s Quck Start Gude for nstallaton nstructons).

Connect the DATA port to your LAN, and connect power (PoE or DC power) to theAF-11.

    Tps

To accurately algn the arFber rados for best performance, you MUST algn onlyone end of the lnk at a tme.

You may need to use addtonal hardware to compensate for ssues such as themproper orentaton of a mountng pole or sgnfcant elevaton dfferencesbetween arFber rados.

    Establshng a Lnk

Adjust the postons of the Master and the Slave to establsh a lnk. The followngsecton features the arFber X antenna, AF-11G35:

Note: The Master must be amed frst at the Slave because the Slave does nottransmt any RF sgnal untl t detects transmssons from the Master.

    1. Master Vsually am the Master at the Slave. To adjust the Master’s poston, adjustthe azmuth and the elevaton.
