Spring
2013-2014
As we start this second half of spring semester we welcome the new members of Delta Phi into our chapter. Info on the new members can be seen below! There are a lot of great events being held this half of the spring semester! Dodge the Police will be held on April 19th, proceeds go to Badge of Honor Association. Spring weekend will be April 26th; money is due by April 6th if you have any questions please contact [email protected]. Alumni Brunch will be held on May 3rd at 11am at the DPhiE house, this will be the same day as Imagine RIT. Be-‐YOU-‐tiful week this year will be held May 5th-‐9th. Sisters are currently working on planning 2o year, so look out for more info soon! This year at our Bowl for Breath event we had 130 people come, and were able to donate $453! For formal this year we had a great turn out! A big congrats to sisters who won awards this year! Highest GPA: Leigh Bechet, Most Improved GPA: Kirstie Failey, Sister of the Year: Danielle Howe,
Greetings From RIT by Tiffany Williams 308 Coordinator of the Year: Margot Dayton, Purple and Gold Bold: Emelie Nichols, and New Member of the Year: Kelsei Morlang. We also had a good turnout for Retreat this year! It was a great bonding experience for sisters. In May, sisters will be participating in one of the three walks to benefit three different organizations very close to our heart. There is the NEDA Walk in Syracuse, the Walk MS Rochester benefitting Multiple Sclerosis, and the Great Strides Walk benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It is an amazing opportunity for sisters to interact with the community while giving back to the charities that are so close to home for us. Dates for these walks are: NEDA Syracuse( May 3, 2014), Walk MS Rochester( May 4, 2014), and Great Strides Rochester( May 18, 2014). Also in May the chapter is looking to team up with Women in Business to bring a local DJ from the University of Rochester to campus for a benefit concert where part of DPhiE’s proceeds will go to the house, as a fundraiser and the rest will be donated to ANAD!
