奈奎氏取樣率 (NYQUIST-RATE)ADC
在訊號取樣時( Sampling),會造成失真的現象( aliasing),為避免訊號失真,信號在取樣時所使用的頻率,必須要為原訊號頻率的二倍以上,即為奈奎斯特取樣定理( Nyquist Sampling Theorem),而此取樣頻率則稱為奈奎斯特頻率( Nyquist frequency)或稱為奈奎斯特率( Nyquist rate)。

超取樣 (OVERSAMPLING)
超取樣類比數位轉換器通常操作在 20倍到 512倍的輸入奈奎氏率,藉由濾除頻帶以外的量化雜訊,以提高輸出訊號的雜訊比 (Signal to Noise Ratio:SNR),等於是利用頻寬換精確度。
