Using any given culture, research a UNIQUE sport specific to that culture(a sport not popular in America). Be sure to include rules, equipment, objective of game and how it is played.
You will have time to work on this in class today You will present the sport to the class. Please use

There are many differences among cultures which makes it hard to understand those different form us.
If an Australian invites you over for tea and says arrive at 7:00, what time should you arrive and what could you expect to do?

Dealing with Variation in other societies
Difference are interesting, but often causes problems
Ethnocentrism- one’s use to their way and do not like to accept ways of doing it.– Can avoid a new way that may be beneficial.
Cultural Relativism- judge things by their own standards not using your own bias.
