EWATEC was founded in 1992 as an engineering and management consultation
firm. The firm consultation services include the design of domestic and industrial
wastewater systems, waste management, cleaner production, waste recycling,
industrial pollution audit, environmental risk assessment, environmental
management systems, preparing environmental impact assessment reports (EIA),
preparing compliance action plans and environmental monitoring.
EWATEC services extend from pre-investment studies to supervising the
implementation, commissioning and trial running to training of personnel both in
technical and managerial fields in addition to conducting environmental economic,
studies including cost benefits analysis.
EWATEC company has a core of highly specialized personnel whereby capabilities
of various specialties are formed in association forming a task force well selected
and balanced to suit every particular situation.
EWATEC offers completely independent advice or council with no affiliation with
suppliers.

COMPANY PRINCIPALS
DR. SAMIA MASSOUD MOHAMED
Professional engineer and environmental expert obtained her PhD in
Environmental Engineering (1978) from the University of British Colombia,
Canada. She then worked as Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University,
B.C., Canada.
Dr. Samia has extensive experience in the fields of food and chemical industries
as a project and process engineer in Egypt and Canada. In addition she possesses
direct experience in cleaner production, waste management, waste recycling,
wastewater treatment and environmental risk assessment.
Dr. Samia has more than 30 years of practical experience in the design of
domestic and industrial wastewater treatment systems as well as the design and
implementation of occupational safety systems and safe handling and storage of
hazardous materials.
She is a certified scientific and engineering consultant and training provider for
a number of Egyptian and foreign companies working in Egypt. Also she
completed a membership course in EARA (Environmental Audit Register
Association), England.
Dr. Samia has been accredited by the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency
(EEAA) especially from EPAP II and PPSI projects to conduct environmental
industrial audits for new and existing projects, thus making recommendations for
practical solutions to solve domestic and industrial wastewater problems.
Annex (I) contains a scanned copy of this recommendation letter.
Recently, Dr. Samia has been certified by the Egyptian Environmental Affairs
Agency (EEAA) under registration number (19/2/4/2014) in the fields of:
Preparing Environmental Impact Assessment studies (EIA).
Preparing Compliance Action Plans (CAP) reports for industrial and
touristic establishments.
Waste and Chemicals management.
