Progression in Key Stage One
• It is essential that children know their times tables for multiplication.
• They can use this knowledge to progress with division using inverse operations.
• E.g. 3 x 4 = 1212 ÷ 4 = 312 ÷ 3 = 4

• Progressing on the children use bigger numbers.
