In 1997 she finished Omsk University of Physical Cultureand became a teacher.
Her sports career started when she was 24.
Ekaterina was born on January 3, 1973, in Belovo which is situated near Kemerovo.

In her native town she worked as a trainer of kettlebell lifting. Ekaterina and her students have participated in different city, regional, national Russian championships
becoming winners.

In 2011 her family and she moved to Slavgorod and Ekaterina started to work as a coach of kettlebell lifting in the town’s sport club “Kristall”.
