Bank of America CEO Receives EMC Information Leadership Award

Abstract Abstract): HOPKINTON, Mass., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- EMC Corporation, the world leader in
information storage and management, announced today that Kenneth D. Lewis, Chief Executive Officer of Bank
of America, received this year's EMC Information Leadership Award for his vision and innovation in information
management. Additionally, Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), an EMC customer, was honored
with the prestigious 21st-Century Achievement Award. The recipients were recognized during the annual
Computerworld Honors Awards gala in Washington, D.C.
In addition, DTCC, the world's largest financial services post- trade infrastructure organization, received the
coveted 21st- Century Achievement Award from the Computerworld Honors Program for visionary use of
information technology in the category of finance, insurance and real estate. Nominated by EMC, DTCC
received this recognition for establishing state-of-the-art backup facilities 1,000 miles from the New York
exchanges, helping assure uninterrupted secure clearance of securities in the event of man- made or natural
disasters.
