October 13th 2017 Harvest Dance
Report
Good food, great company, and lively music all contributed to a fantastic evening that was enjoyed by all at
our 5th annual Harvest Dance. It was truly a sight to behold seeing how
great co-operation can only lead to obvious success. A big compliment goes out to all the parishioners that came out to support
the parish function. There are many thanks to hand out. Thanks go out to: - The volunteers of the kitchen staff that prepared a fantastic evening lunch. (more like a full supper) -The volunteers who managed the door and liquor ticket sales. - The volunteers at the refreshment bar. - The volunteers who took time to provide us with a variety of deserts. - The decorating volunteers who, through their creativeness, enhanced the theme “Harvest” dance. - The volunteers who stayed after the dance ended to ensure that the hall was cleaned up. - All those not mentioned who contributed to the success. And last, but not least, a huge thank you to all who came from near and far, to enjoy this great evening of dancing and fellowship. You made the whole evening great and left a little profit for the parish. The final financial results will be
published at a future date. God Bless you all!
Photo Directory - There is still time to add your family picture or church group pictures in the new directory. We want this to be as inclusive as possible. Connecting people and names are important and creates greater fellowship in our family parish. Our parish is what we make it, be part of enriching and nurturing it. Family pictures can be sent to the church office or myself at [email protected]. There is a $12.50 cost. Church group pictures are free.
Holy Family Home - We need help to escort residents of Holy Family Home to Divine Liturgy every Sunday morning for the month of November. This is a parish sponsored charitable service. Please try to give some time to help with this service. Sign-up sheet is in the narthex.
