Biomedical Engineering integrates physical, chemical,mathematical, computational sciences and engineeringprinciples to study biology, medicine, behavior, and health. Itadvances fundamental concepts; creates knowledge from themolecular to the organ systems level; and develops innovativebiologics, materials, processes, implants, devices andinformatics approaches for the prevention, diagnosis, andtreatment of disease, for patient rehabilitation, and forimproving health.
