Dear Students,
This is the age of specialization and mere graduation doesnt carry much value
in the business world. There is an increasing demand for the workforce with
adequate functional knowledge and the requisite skills to meet the expected level
of performance and succeed career-wise. One needs good entrepreneurship
skills with all round knowledge to set up own enterprise and/or support the
running family business.
Various industry sectors have been performing quite well and progressive
companies in these sectors are growing by beating their own past records at
domestic and international level. The industry always look for young aspiring
post graduates with adequate knowledge, skills and positive attitude to steer its
growth by bringing creativity and innovation at work.
We at Institute of Management & Research strive to provide quality education
with a difference. We follow strict discipline at our institute and work on student
development activities right from the beginning as part of our regular time-
table. The activities include debates, group discussions, quizzes, presentation
skills, exposure to management films and current affairs, participation in
cultural events etc. There is a special emphasis in the form of extra coaching
to make students learn spoken and written English. The primary objective is to
prepare them based on industry needs and make them confident to face the
challenges of corporate world. In the process, they develop good analytical and
problem-solving skills, become a good team player with active involvement and
commitment to excel in the areas of their responsibilities. We have a strong

years since 1991 and have spread their presence in various parts of India withstate-of-art infrastructure facilities.

Wardhaman Bahu Uddeshiya Sanstha, Nagpur registered under Society Act 1860 vide
Maharashtra 702/2004(Nagpur) dated 31-01-2004 and under Bombay Public Trust
Act vide F- 20750(Nag) dated 31-03-2004 is established by the learned visionaries with
the objective of giving a helping hand to the poor, needy & talented students of this region
& helping them to shape their dreams to become professional graduates. The Sanstha
makes a modest attempt to observe the ideology of a new system of education for the
youth to manifest the dream of modern India through value-based education.

ITM growth story
Founded in 1991, ITM Business School was amongst the first private, non-
aided business schools in India.

About The Institute of Management & Research [IOMR]
The Institute was formed under the aegis of WBUS in 2008. The basic premise of the programs
is to produce entrepreneurial managers who are engaged in various academic pursuits and
become the co-producers of knowledge along with the faculty in a very exciting and conducive
ambiance. Hence, the program envisages developing all round personality and corporate
citizenship of the students, and helping them become thinking individuals.
It offers 2-years full-time course in Masters in Business Administration [MBA] and 3- years
full-time course in Masters in Computer Applications [MCA]. Both the courses are affiliated to
Rashtrasant Tukaddoji Maharaj Nagpur University and are approved by AICTE & DTE. We have
a sanction for 60 seats for each of the mentioned courses for 2011-12.
In MBA Course, we offer specialization in Marketing, Finance & HR.
The Institute attracts the best teaching faculty to provide quality education and is in the
process of creating the state-of-the-art infrastructure which will offer the students an excellent
environment to learn and grow as a responsible person and a professional.

Faculty Team
We have an excellent team of core faculty staff having adequate
strengths and industry experience to provide the best quality educationwith innovative ways of imparting knowledge and skills. We take effective
support of visiting faculty staff to strengthen the learning based on their
professional experience and expertise.
Student Development Activities
All round student development activities are conducted right from the
beginning of first semester with an objective of giving adequate knowledge,
skills and practical exposure to build their overall confidence and
personality. Activities like Debates & Group Discussions, Presentation
Skills, Book Reviews, Quizzes, exposure to Management Films with
current industry development/news, and Conversational English with
written abilities are part of our regular time-table.
Students Mentoring is yet another exercise we focus to bring in the
desired improvement in individual students. This is part of our commitment
to make all students self-disciplined with regular good habits.
Placements
The institute will provide a placement support to students for getting
good Summer Internship during June-July, 11 and the Final Placements
at the end of a second year for MBA Students and at the end of a third
year for MCA Students with good progressive firms across varied
sectors. We have a placement record of 100% at all campuses of ITM
Business School.
We have a full-fledged Placement Cell at the Campus and follow the
planned process of working on right good industry database across all
sectors. Moreover, we get full support from Corporate Placement Cell
and good students will get equal opportunities to appear for company
based interviews at different locations.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with a minimum score of 30 in MAH-CET for
the academic year 2011-12 and a full-time Bachelor
Degree of 3 years duration with minimum of 50% marks
in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward
class categories belonging to Maharashtra State Only)
are eligible. Admissions for CAP seats is based on
Merit List as announced by RTM Nagpur University for
admission rounds under CAP.
WBUS has the status of an Unaided Linguistic Minority
Institution. For Minority[HIndi as mother tounge] and
Institute Level Seats-MAH-CET, CAT, XAT, MAT or ATMA
scores, in addition to a graduate degree [as above] will
be applicable. Preference will be given to candidates with
a minimum of 2 years work experience, but this is not
compulsory.
Allocation of Seats based on Category
The Institute shall follow the following pattern for admitting
first year students to MBA Course for the academic year2011-12.
70 % students will be admitted under CAP
[Centralised Admission Process] based on MH-CET
Scores and the allocation as will be done by RTM
Nagpur University.
10 % students will be taken based on Linguistic
Minority Status with Hindi as a mother tongue.
20% seats are reserved as Institution/Management

ADMISSION PROCESS
CAP SEATS:
Students seeking admissions through CAP should have been
allotted seat by Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra
State, Mumbai for admission to the First Year Masters
in Business Administration [MBA Degree] or Masters in
Computer Applications [MCA Degree] Course in Institute of
Management & Research, Nagpur for the academic year
2011-12.
The Directorate of Technical Education will publish the list
of the eligible Candidates along with CAP vacancy at the
end of the CAP rounds.
These admissions will be carried out strictly on the basis
of inter se merit of the candidates who have applied
for admission in Institute of Management & Research
against vacancies.
Candidates having Maharashtra candidature will be
considered for the vacancy round. After admitting
Maharashtra candidates, if seats still remain vacant thenthe seats will be offered to eligible OMS candidates based
on their inert-se-merit. The list of eligible OMS candidates
will be published on DTE website.
INSTITUTE LEVEL & MINORITY SEATS:
Aspiring candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall
apply directly to the Director of Institute of Management &
Research for admissions. These admissions will be made in
a transparent manner and strictly as per the merit of the
candidates who have applied to the institute and are eligible.
Rounds of admission for Institute Level Seats and for theremaining vacant seats will be carried out separately and will
be displayed on the Notice board of our institute.
These students should follow the Admission Procedure as
mentioned below:
1. Purchase Admission Form by paying cost of Rs.350/- in
cash. (Venue: IOMR Admission Counselling Center & The
Campus)
2. Fill the Admission Form neatly & completely.
3. Verification of the form by the Competent Authority in the
Student Section.
4. Submission of Original Documents along with three
Attested Photocopies of the following documents:

Tuition Fees:
The fees structure of the college will be as per the approval by the Shikshan Shulk
Samiti.
1. Mode of payment: By Demand Draft in the name of Director, Institute of Management & Research,Nagpur
2. Reporting of admission to D.T.E.: Candidate is required to provide his/her Application ID and
Password generated by him/her at the time of filling the Government online application form.
3. Collect the fee challan (students copy) after online reporting of admission to D.T.E.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Backward Class candidates admitted against Reserve Category must fill & submit
the Government Freeship/Scholarship form within 8 days from the date of admission.
Distribution of Seats:
Institute of Management & Research, Nagpur is a Linguistic Minority (Hindi) Institute as per the notification
by Government of Maharashtra vide circular no. AES-2008/R.No.164/2008/Seat No.1 dated
10 July 2008. DTE, Minority Development Section and Pravesh Niyantran Samiti of Government ofMaharashtra have permitted the following seat distribution for the academic year 2011-12.
70 % students will be admitted under CAP [Centralised Admission Process] based on MH-CET
