Merit Prize in the Inter­school Singing Contest2010­04­06

      Hosted by DSEJ and organized by Macao Educational Center of Culture and Arts, the 29th Inter­school Singing Contest was held recently atthe Macao Cultural Center. Our school won the Merit Prize which is the highest honour in the Secondary School Category.       There were 13 secondary schools and 19 primary schools joining the competition. There are two categories and the whole contest wasdivided into four sections. The announcement of the results and the prize presentation ceremony were carried out at the end of each sectionimmediately.       In this year’s contest, our school choir sang "Radetzky March" of Johann Baptist Strauss and "Zigeunerleben" of Schumann. Under theleadership of Mr. Lam Chon, our school choir performed superbly and all 7 judges decided unanimously that we should be awarded with theMerit Prize.
