The Organising Committee has decided to hold the 54th Malaysia-Singapore Congress of Medicine (in conjunction with the 47th Annual ScientificCongressof theCollegeofSurgeons)asavirtualconferencein view of the still ongoing uncertainties on COVID-19. The date remains the same i.e. 27th to 29th August 2021. The Organising Committee has tweaked the theme to “Disruptive Forces - Reimagining Our Future”. Indeed, the pandemic has been disruptive; forcing us to adjust and adapt to the new norm. This will be the focus of our discussion at this congress.
TheScientificCommitteehasmodified thescientificprogrammeslightlybut, as before, the meeting will cater for general surgeons, subspecialists, trainees, medicalofficersandmedicalstudents.
The Organising Committee will make every effort to make this virtual conference a stimulating and educational experience for the participants and hope to provide a platform to promote knowledge exchange, research innovations and networking.
PleasecomeandjoinusforthiscombinedScientificMeeting.Letusallcome together and support one another, as we exchange experiences of how we dealt with the pandemic in our practice and personal life.
