REDUCE• Cold Pad Batch dyeing

1. Reduces water consumption to30 litres per kg of fabric vis-à-vis60 litres per kg in Soft Flow

2. Reduced steam consumption to 4kgs per kg of fabric vis-à-vis 7 kgsper kg in Soft Flow

3. Increases Exhaustion of dyestuffto 95% vis-à-vis 85% in Soft Flow

4. Reduces Chemical consumptiondirectly due to lower liquor ratio

5. Salt free dyeing method

6. Reduces COD and TDS in effluentto less than 25% of Soft Floweffluent making recovery easier

• Air Jet Spinning

1. Reduces Hairness on yarn.

2. This reduces chemical treatmentfor clean surface finishes onfabric

3. Shorter spinning process . Hencereduced power consumption

REDUCE• Organic Farming

1. Water Consumption isreduced significantly as thesoil porosity increases in theabsence of Urea.

2. Total elimination ofsynthetic fertilisers. UreaContains salts which reducesthe water retention capacityof soil and leads to largerrunoff of surface water

3. Total elimination ofsynthetic pesticides.

• Water Harvesting

1. Total water incident on siteis captured intounderground naturalacquifers.

2. Eliminates the necessity ofacquring water fromexternal sources

Don’t deplete the water tablee

REDUCE•Waste Heat Recovery

1. CPP fitted with Exhaust GasBoiler to generate steam

2. CPP fitted with Hot WaterGenerator to provide HotWater for Process

3. Stenters fitted with WasteHeat recovery modules forheating incoming air withexhaust air

4. Thermic fluid heater fittedwith Economiser forgenerating Hot Water

• Energy Efficiency

• Installed MVR’s inplace ofMEE for waste waterevaporation

• Condensate Recovery systemprovides 70% of steam backas hot water.

REDUCE•CARBON FOOTPRINT

1. CER through fuel switching onthe 6 MW natural gas basedpower plant. Apart from thisCER through waste heatrecovery on exhaust side forsteam and hot water.

2. Improved CarbonSequestration in the Organicfarmlands. The switch fromconventional farming toorganic farming has increasedthe sequestration capability ofsoil manifold. Henceabsorption of CO2 has beenincreased in farm landencompassing 125000 acres or500,000 m2 .

3. Tree plantation – 20,000 tressacross factory campuses havekept emission levels undercheck

• REACH and GOTS compliant

Recycle & Reuse• Water

1. All plants are equipped with STP’s which treat sewage, recycle into Process water used for Boilers and Non – Contact water for toilets and balance for greenery. 90% of the sewage water is thus being reused

2. The ETP +RO+MVR combination allows us to recover 95% of the effluent back as process water

• Salt1. Brine recovery and reuse. Our

treatment system has been designed to recover pure NaCl solution in concentrated form for using in dyeing. We are projecting to reduce the total NaCl recovery to 75% of the added quantity. This hence reduces the amount of NaCl going to landfills by nearly 6000 kgs per day.
