1. Turn on / Turn off (start or stop the energy flow).
Examples:• Carlos turned on the light. • Could you please turn off the stove?

2. Turn up / Turn down (increase or decrease the volume or strength).
Examples: • Lina turned up the volume on the radio. • Could you turn down the volume of
music?

3. Run out of (stay without)
