Monitoring: Masurarea compusilor organici volatili cu ajutorul detectorului de ionizare cu flacari (FID)
Principiul masuratorii: Ionizarea chimica a substantelor organice intr-o flacara de hidrogen
Semnalul masuratorii este aproape proportional cu numarul atomilor de carbon cuprinsi in gazul-proba.
Semnal = r * Cc
Utiliarea aparatelor de masura omologate aprobate de catre autoritate pentru masuratorile discontinue!

Factor de proportionalitate r = factor de reactie in functie de
- forma de legare si parametrii de legare ai atomilor de caboni
- Tipul de aparate si conditiile de operare
Compusii organici cu atomi hetero, de ex. N, O, S, Cl, reactioneaza in general cu o vulnerabilitate scauzuta.
Monoxidul de carbon si dioxidul de carbon vor fi captati.
Concentratia de carbon ca echivalent cu propananul :Ccp [mg C/Nm3] = 1,608 * CVP[ppm]
Concentratia carbonului: CCS [mg C/Nm3] = Ccp [mg C/Nm3]/rs = 1,608 *CVP [ppm]/rs

Exemplu 1: In gazul rezidual se gaseste in mod exclusiv acetatul in forma de compusi organici volatili. Semnal primit: 54 ppm; etalonare pe propan; factor de reactie a acetonei: 0,77 CAceton [mg C/Nm3] = 1,608 * 54 ppm/0,77 = 112,7 mg C/m3
Conversia in CAcetona [mg/Nm3]; Masa moleculara Acetona (C3H6O) = 58; Raport carbon/masa moleculara f = 3* 12/58 = 0,62 CAcetona [mg/Nm3] = CAcetona [mg C/Nm3] / f = 182 mg/Nm3

Prelevarea cu ajutorul FID
• Dotarea dispozitivelor de prelevare cu un filtru de separare a particulelor pentru protectia impotriva infundarii arzatorului
• Condensarea dupa filtru se va preveni alternativ prin:- conducta complet incalzita pana la intrarea gazului in aparatul de masurare: in cazul gazelor fierbinti: Temperatura in locul cel mai rece cel putin 20° C > temperatura gazului emis si < 200 °C- Dispozitiv adecvat pentru diluarea dinamica
Cerintele minime pentru FID (Extras din DIN EN 13526):
• Domeniu de masurare cel mai mic: 0 – 50 mg/m3, 150 sau 500 mg/m3
• Limita de dovedire: 5% din valoarea limita de emisie
• Momentul opririi (Perioada intre modificarea rapida a concentratiei de C total si momentul la care semnalul aparatului de masurare atinge 90% din valoarea definitiva): < 1 Minut

Cerintele minime ale FID (Extras DIN EN 13526):
• Linearitatea: abatare permisa: 5% din valoarea limita de emisie
• Aer de ardere (aer pentru arderea gazului de ardere): Continut TOC ≤ 1%
• Gaz de verificare pentru verificarea afisajului valorilor masurate: Propan ca si substanta de etalonare
Pentru verificare se extrage cu o sonda gaz de verificare si din acel moment se constata
momentul opririi (= timp mort + timp de urcare) cu cronometru
Pentru asigurarea calitatii:
• In ziua masuratorii, verificarea etanseitatii: Intrarea probei este inchisa rapid si se
face controlul afisajului presiunii probei. Verificarea multipla a liniei aparatului prin
gazul nul si gaz de verificare (propan)
• Verificarea periodica a conditiilor de presiune si a capacitatii de exhaustare
