La forma comparativa se usa cuando usted desea comparar dos cosas. Por
ejemplo si hay una persona alta y otra baja; usted puede decir:
Person A is taller than person B.
Person B is shorter than person A.

La forma superlativa se usa cuando usted desea expresar que alguien es el
número 1. Por ejemplo, usted puede decir que El Amazonas es el rio más largo
del mundo.

In my family, The tallest one is my father. The most
beautiful is my mother. The thinnest is my sister. The shortest
is my brother and the most handsome is me! Who am I?

Si el adjetivo es de 1 sílaba y su penúltima letra un
sonido vocálico y esta en medio de dos sonidos
consonánticos se duplica la ultima letra.
Ej: en la palabra big . La penúltima letra es /i /la cual
esta en medio de los sonidos consonánticos /b/ /g/
El sonido que se duplica es /g/
