Your film must include:

A production company ident A title sequence

Studio Idents

Blog Task 1

Choose at least 4 different studio Idents ( a mix of “majors” and “indies”)

Write about how the Ident has changed over the years or been adapted for different purposes.

Analyse what they say about the studios they represent.

Blog Task 2

Choose three different title sequences to analyse, (at least two must be thrillers)

Write about: Who the production company is Are the titles presented over the opening footage or

are they intercut between shots? The order the titles appear in How and why the titles suit the genre or content of

the film Whether the titles give you any clues about the film

you are about to watch

Find out about Saul Bass

Who was he? What is he famous for? Examples of his work? Analyse some of his work
