Vansan water lubricated pumps are
lubricated by fluid being pumped, thus
eliminating a separate lubrication
system. Pre-start lubrication water
may be introduced from the surface
through an inlet in discharge.
At point of bearing contact, line shaft is
hard chrome plated. At speeds above
2200 rpm, bearings are spaced at 5
feet; below 2200 rpm, at 10 feet.
Vansan su ile yaðlamalý dik millipompalarýnda kolon milini yataklayankauçuklarýn yaðlanmasý pompanýnbastýðý su ile saðlanýr. Ýlk çalýþtýrmadanönce pompa çýkýþ borusundan içeriyebir miktar su dökülmesi statik suseviyesinin üzerinde bulunan yataklarýnkuru çalýþma sonucu aþýnmalarýnýönler.
2200 d/d'dan yüksek devirlipompalarda iki yatak arasýndakimesafe 1,5 metre, 2200 d/d'dan düþükdevirli pompalarda 3 metredir. Pompamilinin yataklamalarýnda kauçuk vebronz beraber kullanýlmaktadýr.Böylelikle aþýnmaya karþý dahadayanýklý bir yapý elde edilmiþtir.
Su ile yaðlamalý dik milli pompalarýnstatik su seviyesinin yakýn olduðuyerlerde kullanýlmasý idealdir.

Vansan oil lubricated column
construction allows smooth, quiet
starting and operating regardless of
how often the pump is started or shut
down. A heavy steel tube protects the
shaft and bearings from corrosion and
foreign matter, and carries the
lubricating oil to each bearing the full
length of the shaft. Threaded bronze
bearings are spaced every 5 feet. The
shafting is carefully manufactured and
held to close tolerances. Rubber
spiders center the shaft and tube in the
column pipe at regular intervals.
A by-pass port and water slinger are
provided in the discharge case of the
bowl assembly. This arrangement by
passes the water under pressures
moving up the pump shaft and
eliminates the need for a packing box
or mechanical seal at the surface.
A sight feed oil drip lubricator allows
visual inspection and adjustment by
the operator.
Vansan yað ile yaðlamalý dik millipompalarý, statik su seviyesinin çokdüþük olduðu kuyularda ve sudakiyabancý partiküllerin yoðun olduðudurumlarda kullanýlacak en saðlýklýsistemdir.
Kolon millerini saran mil muhafazaborularý, milleri pompanýn bastýðýsuyun içerisindeki yabancý partiküllerekarþý korurlar. Ayrýca ilk çalýþtýrmaesnasýnda miller yað ile dolu olan milmuhafaza borusu içerisindeolduklarýndan yataklarýn kuru çalýþmasonucu erken aþýnma olasýlýðý ortadankaldýrýlmýþtýr.
Bronz ara yataklar 2200 d/d'dan düþükdevirli pompalarda 1,5 metre aralýkla,2200 d/d'dan yüksek devirlipompalarda 1 metre aralýklayerleþtirilmiþtir.

be used for short settings without column pipe instead of
low efficiency multistage horizontal pumps.

The application of vertical turbine pumps
to booster pressure requirements is
becoming more widespread at an
increasing rate of acceptance. The rising
popularity is due not alone to the basic
simplicity of the turbine pump, but very
importantly its contrubituon to
simplification and dependability of the
complete booster system.
The adaptability of the vertical turbine pump for line
booster service is illustrated in the accompanying
sketch. This T-head type construction has become
popular and widespread due to the in-line
arrangement of suction and discharge connections
for surface piping systems. This units are particularly
effective in systems handling fluids with high vapor
pressures because the NPSH requirement of the
pump can always be satisfied by the simple means of
providing the correct length of inter connecting
discharge column to place the lowest impeller of the
pumping element at the required elevation.
Pipe line boosters are required to suit various configurations
of existing piping. The dry pit installation arrangement is
suitable regardless of the elevation of the suction line. While
the illustration (left) shows the pump installed in a concrete
pit, the usual preference, any suitable provision for
supporting the weight of the unit with good rigidity will be
sufficient. This makes a simple and dependable installation.
Pit depth will be determined by either the suction line
elevation or stages required to obtain the necessary
pressures
