1- Water tightness Production of Water-tight Concrete

To get: Use

- high quality - Impermeable - Dense - crack-free - no honeycombing

concrete.

- well graded aggregates

- low w/c ratio - sufficient cement content - mechanical mixing - mechanical compaction (vibration) - curing of concrete.

2- Crack-free (or Uncracked) Sections No cracks at the liquid sides (design

uncracked sections) Satisfy the S.L.S requirements for

cracking width according to code 203/2007 clause 4-3-2.

Satisfy the strength requirement using U.S.L.S (calculate the required steel rft.)
