Despite its proximity to downtown, the district of Lima MIRR is presented as an urban area vulnerable bythe lack of attention to the needs of their social so it has generated a vast area of informal city (slums).

The aim of the proposal is to revitalize the sector of El Montn", a current slum area, assuming theimplementation of the large urban projects promoted by the City throughout the Rimac riverside (among

others Via Parque Rimac project). We've focused our effort in the rehousing of affected residents byan operation of urban transformation of an abandoned industrial area (generating a new network ofstreets cross between the river and the established part of the city that forms a new urban area), thewidening and undergrounding of the railway line and a detailed plan to promote self-construction newresidential areas according to a program citizen participation.

The project intends to meet the requirement for an overall renewal of the city, in terms of comprehensive revision of the rail and roadmobility. The new pole is intended to become the hub of exchanges and therefore to have the ability of connecting both the urbanareas and the areas outside the city, in compatibility with the existing railway network. The station integrates into the symphony ofconcatenated green spaces distributed along the two axes (boulevards) that the Master Plan of the City proposes, as one of thegreen pixels intended to form the new citys urban structure.

The complex is conceived as part of the green space structure to encourage outdoor activities, becoming a public space for citizensto converge public transport modal shifts and leisure activities such as outdoor sports, walks with city views and public events. Thebuilding gradually rises as a small hill becoming a citys center viewpoint at its highest. The pedestrian may walk over the buildingwithout interferences and enjoy an esplanade overlooking the new citys promenade.

A proposal has been drawn up to promote the central area of the passenger and bus terminal. The passenger buildingis a spacious shell, the floor of which forms an elliptical figure, 110m at its widest axis, coinciding with the direction ofthe tracks and 85m at its shortest axis, 15m high from level 6.00 which is where the building descends down to theplatforms. It is illuminated centrally by a large oculus, 50m in diameter which allows in natural light and is screenedusing slats at a 45 angle.

The building is finished with a metallic look, in keeping with the basic metal character of the transport systems which ithouses. Glass will also be used for its transparency and clean look.

The proposed for the redevelopment of the Gardens presents a program of urban garden with various scenarios and a greatmultifuncionality. The axis vertebra is a visual space on the city to the sea. This viewpoint is kept with the original topography integration in the newgardens. The green space and the main route are the center of the garden, this fact organizes the terrace system and gives it astrong character as well as it releases the areas around us where outdoor activities are carried out at the same time as allowingovercome the existing height of 11.5m between the two streets taht border the gardens.

Industrialized building is a process of manufacturing self-supporting buildings divided into modules, which are assembled bothhorizontally and vertically to form a structure designed as a mechano, with interior fully equipped and finished and transported to theground on which build.

This technology allowed us to make significant improvements in the construction process of the building:- Reducing the time of execution.

    - Improved working conditions, safety and performance because most of the tasks are developed at the factory.- Green Buildings: construction in the factory helps to eliminate noise impacts, visual, and waste on the land to build.- Sustainability and recycling. The materials of our buildings are reusable.- Stability and accuracy of the structure- High quality materials and finishes. The factory work allows continuous exercise strict quality control.
