In the name of Alláh the Beneficent, the Merciful.

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁB áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔÃá® ãäÄá{ áäÈâÏäÃÂáB

O Alláh send Your blessings on Mu<ammad

and the family of Mu<ammad.

ÕãmáäÂB áÀãQCáXã¿ ãÈåXág ÔáÃá® ØãËáXåËá®áF

áÀáäÊãH áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂBBænÒâÊ âÐáXåÂáqåÊáF

O Alláh, You have helped me complete Your Book, which You sent down as a light

âÐáXåÂáqáÊáF èPCáXã¿ ãäÄâ¿ ÔáÃá®

CæËãÇå×áÏâÆ âÐáXåÃá¯á_ áÑ

and appointed as a guardian over every book You have sent down,

âÐáXå|á|áº è]Öãkác ãäÄâ¿ ÔáÃá®

âÐáXåÃáä£á¶ áÑ

preferring it over every narrative which You have recounted,

áÀãÆBáoác áÑ áÀãÂáÚác áÌå×áQ ãÐãQ áYåºáoá¶

CæÊCáºåoâ¶ áÑ

a separator, through which You have separated Your lawful from Your

unlawful,

áÀãÆCá¿åcáF ã°ãMDáoáw åÌá® ãÐãQ áYåQáoå®áF

CæÊDåoâº áÑ

a Qur’án, through which You have made plain the approaches to Your

ordinances

æÚ×ã|å·áW á½ãjCáRã¯ãÂ âÐáXåÃáä|á¶ CæQCáXã¿ áÑ

a book, which You have distinguished very distinctly for Your servants,

ãÐãÂD áÑ ãÐå×áÃá® áÀâWBáÒáÃá{ èkáäÇádâÆ áÀãä×ãRáÊ ÔáÃá®

âÐáXåÂáqåÊáF Eæ×åcáÑ áÑæÚÖãqåËáW

a revelation, which You have sent down, a sending down, upon Your prophet Mu<ammad

(Your blessings be upon him and his Household).

ãUáÂáÚáä£ÂB ãÈáÃâª åÌãÆ ÕãkáXåÏáÊ BænÒâÊ âÐáXåÃá¯á_

áÑãÐã®CáRãäWCãQ ãUáÂCáÏá`åÂB áÑ

You appointed it a light through following which we may be guided from the shadows of error

and ignorance,

ãÐã®CáÇãXåsB ÔáÂãH ã¼Öãkå|áäXÂB ãÈåÏá·ãQ áYá|

åÊáF åÌáÇãÂ æAEá·ãw áÑ

a healing for him who turns ear toward hearing it with the understanding of

attestation,

âÐâÊCátãÂ ãä¼ádåÂB ãÌá® â¸×ãdáÖ áÙ è¨åtãº

áÉBáq×ãÆ áÑ

a just balance whose tongue does not incline away from truth,

âÐâÊCáÎåoâQ áÌÖãkãÎCáäxÂB ãÌá® âGá·å§áÖ áÙ ÓækâÎ

ánÒâÊ áÑ

a light of guidance whose proof is not extinguished before the witnesses,

èTCá`áÊ áÈáÃá® áÑ

and a guidepost of deliverance,

ãÐãXáäËâs ákå|áº áäÅáF åÌáÆ âäÄã£áÖ áÙ

so that he who repairs straightway to its prescription will not go

astray,

ãÐãXáÇå|ã® ãTáÑåoâ¯ãQ á¼áäÃá¯áW åÌáÆ

ãVCá¿áÃáÏåÂB ÕãkåÖáF âÁCáËáW áÙ áÑ

and he who clings to its preservation’s handhold will not be touched by the hands

of disasters.

ãÐãWáÑáÚãW ÔáÃá® áUáÊÒâ¯áÇåÂB

CáËáWåká¶áF ålãIá¶ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, since You have given us help to recite it,

ãÐãWánCáRã® ãÌåtâdãQ CáËãXáËãtåÂáF áØãsBáÒá_

áYåÃáäÏás áÑ

and made smooth the roughness of our tongues through the beauty of its

expression,

ãÐãXáÖCá®ãn áä¼ác âÍCá®åoáÖ åÌáäÇãÆ

CáËåÃá¯å_Cá¶

place us among those who observe it as it should be observed,

ãÐãWCáÖD ãÈá¿ådâÇãÂ ãÈ×ãÃåtáäXÂB

ãjCá»ãXå®CãQ áÀáÂ âÌÖãkáÖ áÑ

serve You by adhering in submission to the firm text of its verses,

ãÐãWCáËãä×áQ ãVCádá¢ÒâÆáÑ ãÐãÏãQCáxáXâÇáQ

ãnBáoåºãåßB ÔáÂãH â áqå·áÖ áÑ

and seek refuge in admitting both its ambiguous parts and the elucidations of

its clear signs!

ãÐå×áÃá® âÐáäÃÂB ÔáäÃá{ èkáäÇádâÆ áÀãä×ãRáÊ ÔáÃá® âÐáXåÂáqåÊáF áÀáäÊãH

áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂBæÚáÇå`âÆ ãÐãÂD áÑ

O Alláh, You sent it down upon Your prophet Mu<ammad (God bless him and his household) in

summary form,

æÚáäÇá¿âÆ ãÐãRãMEá`á® áÈåÃã®

âÐáXåÇáÏåÂáF áÑ

You inspired him with the science of its wonders to complement it,

Bæoáätá·âÆ âÐáÇåÃã® CáËáXå[áänáÑ áÑ

You made us the heirs of its knowledge as interpreters,

âÐáÇåÃã® áÄãÏá_ åÌáÆ ÔáÃá® CáËáXåÃáä£á¶

áÑ

You made us to surpass him who is ignorant of its knowledge,

âÐáÃåÇác å¼ã§âÖ åÈáÂ åÌáÆ á¹åÒá¶ CáËá¯á¶åoáXãÂ

ãÐå×áÃá® CáËáXåÖáäÒáº áÑ

and You gave us strength over it to raise us above those not able to carry it.

æUáÃáÇác âÐáÂ CáËáQÒâÃâº áYåÃá¯á_

CáÇá¿á¶ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, just as You have appointed our hearts as its carriers

âÐáÃå£á¶áÑ âÐá¶áoáw áÀãXáÇåcáoãQ

CáËáXå¶áäoá® áÑ

and made known to us through Your mercy its nobility and excellence,

âÐáÂ ãÉBáäqâhåÂB ãÐãÂD ÔáÃá® áÑ ãÐãQ

ãS×ã§áhåÂB èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá® ãäÄá|á¶

so also bless Mu<ammad, its preacher, and his Household, its guardians,

á½ãkåËã® åÌãÆ âÐáäÊáGãQ âµãoáXå¯áÖ åÌáäÇãÆ CáËåÃá¯å_B áÑ

and place us among those who confess that it has come from You,

ãÐã»Öãkå|áW Øã¶ âäÀáäxÂB CáËá¢ãnCá¯âÖ

áÙ ÔáäXác

lest doubt about attesting to it assail us,

ãÐã»Öãoá¦ ãkå|áº åÌá® â´åÖáäqÂB

CáËá`ãÃáXåháÖ áÙ áÑ

or deviation from its straightforward path shake us!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®

ãäÄá{ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh bless Mu<ammad and his Household,

ãÐãÃåRádãQ âÈã|áXå¯áÖ åÌáäÇãÆ CáËåÃá¯å_B áÑ

and make us one of those who hold fast to its cord,

ãÐãÃã»å¯áÆ ãpåoãc ÔáÂãH ãVCáÏãQCáxáXâÇåÂB áÌãÆ

ÕãÑåGáÖ áÑ

seek haven from its ambiguities in its fortified stronghold,

ãÐãcCáËá_ ãäÄãª Øã¶ âÌâ¿åtáÖ áÑ

rest in the shadow of its wing,

ãÐãcCáRá{ ãAåÒá£ãQ ÕãkáXåÏáÖ áÑ

find guidance in the brightness of its morning,

ãÍãnCá·åsãH ãaâäÃáRáXãQ ÕãkáXå»áÖ áÑ

follow the shining of its disclosure,

ãÐãcCáRå|ãÇãQ âeãRå|áXåtáÖ áÑ

acquire light from its lamp,

ãÍãoå×á² Øã¶ ÓákâÏåÂB âuãÇáXåÃáÖ áÙ áÑ

and beg not guidance from any other!

áÀå×áÃá® ãTáÙáäkÃãÂ CæÇáÃá® BækáäÇádâÆ ãÐãQ

áYåRá|áÊ CáÇá¿ áÑ áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, just as through it You have set up Mu<ammad as a guidepost to point to You

áÀå×áÂãH Eá¢ãäoÂB áÄâRâs ãÐãÂEãQ áYå`áÏåÊáF áÑ

and through his Household You have made clear Your good pleasure’s

roads to You,

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá® ãäÄá|á¶

so also bless Mu<ammad and his Household,

ãUáÆBáoá¿åÂB ãÁãpCáËáÆ ãµáoåwáF ÔáÂãH EáËáÂ æUáÃ×ãsáÑ áÉDåoâ»åÂB

ãÄá¯å_B áÑ

and make the Qur’án our mediation to the noblest stations of Your honour,

ãUáÆáÚáätÂB ãäÄádáÆ ÔáÂãH ãÐ×ã¶ â^âoå¯áÊ

CæÇáäÃâs áÑ

a ladder by which we may climb to the place of safety,

ãUáÆCá×ã»åÂB ãUá{åoá® Øã¶ áTCá`áäËÂB ãÐãQ Óáqå`âÊ CæRáRás áÑ

a cause for our being repaid with deliverance at the Plain of

Resurrection,

ãUáÆCá»âÇåÂB ãnBáj ãÈ×ã¯áÊ ÔáÃá® CáÏãQ

âÅâkå»áÊ æUá¯Öãnál áÑ

and a means whereby we may reach the bliss of the House of

Permanence!

ãnBápåÑáÛBB áÄå»ã[ CáäËá®

ãÉDåoâ»åÂCãQ å¨â§åcB áÑ

lessen for us through the Qur’án the weight of heavy sins,

ãnBáoåQáÛBB ãÄãMEáÇáw áÌåtâc

CáËáÂ åSáÎ áÑ

give to us the excellent qualities of the pious,

ãÄå×áäÃÂB áAEáÊD ãÐãQ áÀáÂ BÒâÆCáº áÌÖãmáäÂB ánCá[D

CáËãQ â¸åºB áÑãnCáÏáäËÂB áµBáoå¦áF áÑ

and make us follow the tracks of those who stood before You in the watches of the

night and the ends of the day,

ãÍão×ãÏå§áXãQ èuáÊáj ãäÄâ¿ åÌãÆ

CáÊáoãäÏá§âW ÔáäXác

such that You purify us from every defilement through its purification,

ãÍãnÒâËãQ BÑâAEá£áXåsB áÌÖãmáäÂB ánCá[D CáËãQ

áÒâ·å»áW áÑ

and make us to follow the tracks of those who have taken illumination

from its light,

ãÍãnÑâoâ² ã ákâhãQ åÈâÏá¯á§å»á×á¶ ãÄáÇá¯åÂB ãÌá® âÄáÆáÛBB âÈãÏãÏåÃâÖ

åÈáÂ áÑ

and whom expectation has not distracted from works, cutting them off through its

delusions’ deceptions!

CætãÊKâÆ ØãÂCá×áäÃÂB ãÈáÃâª Øã¶ CáËáÂ

áÉDåoâ»åÂB ãÄá¯å_B áÑ

and appoint the Qur’án for us an intimate in the shadows of nights,

CæsãnCác ãrãÑCásáÒåÂB ãVBáoá§ág áÑ

ãÉCá§å×áäxÂB ãVCá²áqáÊ åÌãÆ áÑ

and a guardian against the instigations of Satan and confusing thoughts,

CætãQCác Øã{Cá¯áÇåÂB ÔáÂãH EáÏãÃå»áÊ åÌá®

CáËãÆBákåºáãÛ áÑ

for our feet an obstruction from passing to acts of disobedience,

CáÆ ãoå×á² åÌãÆ ãÄã¦CáRåÂB Øã¶ ã¡åÒáhåÂB ãÌá® CáËãXáËãtåÂáãÛ áÑCæsãoåhâÆ èUá¶D

for our tongues a silencer without blight preventing a plunge into falsehood,

Bæoã_Báp ãÅCá[åÝB ãµBáoãXåºB ãÌá®

CáËãcãnBáÒá`ãÂ áÑ

for our limbs a restrainer from committing sins,

BæoãwCáÊ ãnCáRãXå®ãÙB ãeâä·á|áW åÌãÆ CáäËá®

âUáÃå·á³åÂB ãVáÒá¦ CáÇãÂ áÑ

and for the scrutiny of heedfulness rolled up in heedlessness an unroller,

ãÐãÂCá\åÆáF áoã_BáÑáp áÑ ãÐãRãMEá`á® áÈåÏá¶

CáËãQÒâÃâº ÔáÂãH áÄã{ÒâW ÔáäXác

such that You attach to our hearts the understanding of the Qur’án’s wonders

and its restraining similitudes,

ãÌá® CáÏãXáQáÚá{ ÔáÃá® ØãsBáÑáäoÂB âÁCáRã`åÂB

ãYá·â¯á¢ Ø~ãXáäÂBãÐãÂCáÇãXåcB

which immovable mountains in all their solidity were too weak to carry!

CáÊãoãÎCáª ábáÚá{ ãÉDåoâ»åÂCãQ

åÅãjáF áÑ

and through the Qur’án make permanent the rightness of our

outward selves,

CáÊãoãMEáÇá¢ ãUáädã{ åÌá® ãrãÑCásáÒåÂB ãVBáoá§ág

ãÐãQ åSâ`åcB áÑ

veil the ideas of confusing thoughts from the soundness of our innermost minds,

CáÊãnBápåÑáF á¼ãMáÚá® áÑ CáËãQÒâÃâº áÉánáj

ãÐãQ åÄãtå²B áÑ

wash away the dirt of our hearts and the ties of our heavy sins,

CáÊãnÒâÆâF áoáxáXåËâÆ ãÐãQ

å°áÇå_B áÑ

gather our scattered affairs,

CáÊãoã_BáÒáÎ áGáÇáª áÀå×áÃá® ã¡åoá¯åÂB

ã¸ãºåÒáÆ Øã¶ ãÐãQ ãÑånB áÑ

quench the thirst of our burning heat in the standing place of the presentation to

You,

CáÊãnÒâxâÊ Øã¶ ãoáRå¿áÛBB ã áqá·åÂB áÅåÒáÖ ãÉCáÆáÛBB

áÄáÃâc ãÐãQ CáËâtå¿B áÑ

and clothe us in the robes of security on the Day of the Greatest Terror at our

uprising!

ã¹áÚåÆãåßB ãÅáká® åÌãÆ CáËáXáäÃág

ãÉDåoâ»åÂCãQ åoâRå_B áÑ

and through the Qur’án redress our lack - our destitution in poverty -

ã¹BápånáÛBB ãUá¯ás áSå|ãgáÑ ãyå×á¯åÂB áká²án

ãÐãQ CáËå×áÂãH å¼âs áÑ

drive toward us the comforts of life and an abundance of plentiful

provisions,

ã¹áÚågáÛBB áØãÊBákáÆ áÑ áUáÆÒâÆåmáÇåÂB

áSãMDáoáä£ÂB ãÐãQ CáËåRãäËá_ áÑ

turn aside blameworthy character traits and base moral qualities,

ã¹Cá·ãäËÂB Øã®BáÑáj áÑ ãoå·â¿åÂB ãTáäÒâÎ åÌãÆ

ãÐãQ CáËåÇã|å®B áÑ

and preserve us from the pit of unbelief and the motives for

hypocrisy,

áÀãÊCáËã_ áÑ áÀãÊBáÒå¢ãn ÔáÂãH ãUáÆCá×ã»åÂB Øã¶

CáËáÂ áÉÒâ¿áÖ ÔáäXácBækãMEáº

such that the Qur’án may be for us at the resurrection a leader to Your good pleasure

and Your gardens,

BækãMDál á½ãjÑâkâc Õãäká¯áW áÑ áÀã§åhâs åÌá® Cá×åÊâäkÂB Øã¶ CáËáÂ áÑ

for us in this world a protector against Your displeasure and transgressing

Your bounds,

BækãÎCáw ãÐãÆBáoác ãÈÖãoådáWáÑ ãÐãÂáÚác ãÄ×ãÃådáXãQ á½ákåËã®

CáÇãÂ áÑ

and for what is with You a witness by its declaring lawful the lawful and its declaring unlawful the unlawful!

CáËãtâ·åÊáF ÔáÃá® ãVåÒáÇåÂB ákåËã®

ãÉDåoâ»åÂCãQ åÉãäÒáÎ áÑ

and through the Qur’án make easy for our souls at death,

ã¹Cá×ãätÂB áPåoá¿

the distress of the driving,

ãÌ×ãÊáÛBB ákåÏá_ áÑ

the effort of the moaning,

ã^ãnCáxádåÂB áµâjBáoáW áÑ

and the succession of the rattling,

è¹Bán åÌáÆ áÄ×ãºáÑ áØãºBáoáäXÂB ârÒâ·âäËÂB

ãYá³áÃáQ BálãH

when souls reach the throats and it is said, 'Where is the enchanter?’ (75:26 -

7)

ãPÒâ×â³åÂB ãSâ`âc åÌãÆ CáÏã£åRá»ãÂ ãVåÒáÇåÂB

âÀáÃáÆ ÔáäÃá`áWáÑ

when the angel of death discloses himself to seize them from behind the

veils of unseen things,

ã¹Báoã·åÂB ãUáxåcáÑ ãÈâÏåsáGãQ CáÖCáËáÇåÂB ãråÒáº Ìá® CáÎCáÆán áÑ

letting loose at them from the bow of destinies the arrows of the terror of

lonesome separation,

ã¹BámáÇåÂB áUáÆÒâÇåtáÆ CæsåGá¿ ãVåÒáÇåÂB

ãµCá®âl åÌãÆ CáÏáÂ áµBáj áÑ

and mixing for them from sudden death a cup poisoned to the taste;

ç¹áÚã§åÊB áÑ çÄ×ãcán ãTáoãgåÝB ÔáÂãH EáäËãÆ CáÊáj áÑ

and when departure and release for the hereafter come close to us,

ã¹CáËå®áÛBB Øã¶ ákãMáÚáº âÁCáÇå®áÛBB

ãVánCá{ áÑ

works become collars around the necks,

ã¹áÚáäXÂB ãÅåÒáÖ ãVCá»×ãÆ ÔáÂãH ÓáÑåGáÇåÂB áØãÎ ânÒRâ»åÂB ãYáÊCá¿ áÑ

and the graves become the haven until the appointed time of the Day of Encounter!

ãUáÆCá»âÇåÂB ãÁÒâ¦ áÑ ÔáÃãRåÂB ãnBáj ãÁÒâÃâc Øã¶

CáËáÂ å½ãnCáQ áÑÓáoáä\ÂB ã¹CáRå¦áF áÌå×áQ

make blessed for us the arrival at the house of decay and the drawn out residence between

the layers of the earth,

CáËãÂãpCáËáÆ áoå×ág Cá×åÊâäkÂB ã¹Báoã¶ ákå¯áQ

ánÒRâ»åÂB ãÄá¯å_B áÑ

appoint the graves, after separation from this world, the best of our waystations,

CáÊãkãcáÚáÆ ã¼×ã¢ Øã¶ áÀãXáÇåcáoãQ CáËáÂ

åeátå¶B áÑ

make roomy for us through Your mercy the narrowness of our tombs,

CáËãÆCá[D ãVCá»ãQÒâÇãQ ãUáÆCá×ã»åÂB ãoã¢Các Øã¶ CáËådá£å·áW áÙ áÑ

and disgrace us not among those present at the Resurrection through

our ruinous sins!

CáËãÆCá»áÆ áäÁâl áÀå×áÃá® ã¡åoá¯åÂB ã¸ãºåÒáÆ Øã¶

ãÉDáoâ»åÂCãQ åÈácånB áÑ

Through the Qur’án have mercy upon the lowliness of our station, at the standing

place of presentation to You,

ãpCá`áÇåÂB áÅåÒáÖ áÈáäËáÏá_ ãoåtã_ ãPBáoã§å¢B ákåËã® ãÐãQ

åYãäRá[ áÑCáËãÆBákåºáF áÄáÂáp CáÏå×áÃá®

make firm the slips of our feet during the shaking of the bridge across hell on the day

of passage over it,

CáÊãnÒâRâº áµákâs ã]å¯áRåÂB áÄåRáº ãÐãQ

ånãäÒáÊ áÑ

illuminate the darkness of our graves before the Uprising,

ãÁBáÒåÎáF ãkãMDákáw áÑ ãUáÆCá×ã»åÂB áÅåÒáÖ èPåoá¿ ãäÄâ¿ åÌãÆ ãÐãQ CáËãä`áÊ áÑ

ãUáäÆEáä§ÂB ãÅåÒáÖ

and deliver us from every distress on the Day of Resurrection and from the hardships of

terrors on the Day of Disaster!

ãÅåÒáÖ Øã¶ ãUáÇáÃáä«ÂB âÍÒâ_âÑ âäjáÒåtáW áÅåÒáÖ

CáËáÎÒâ_Ñ å¤ãä×áQ áÑãUáÆBákáäËÂB áÑ ãTáoåtádåÂB

Whiten our faces on the day when the faces of wrongdoers are blackened during the Day of

Regret and Remorse,

BæäjâÑ áÌ×ãËãÆåKâÇåÂB ãnÑâkâ{ Øã¶ CáËáÂ

åÄá¯å_B áÑ

appoint love for us in the breasts of the faithful,

Bæká¿áÊ CáËå×áÃá® áTCá×ádåÂB ãÄá¯å`áW

áÙ áÑ

and make not life for us troublesome!

áÀãÂÒâsánáÑ á½ãkåRá® èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®


O Alláh, bless Mu<ammad, Your servant and Your messenger,

á½ãjCáRã¯ãÂ áeá|áÊ áÑ á½ãoåÆáGãQ á áká{ áÑ

áÀáXáÂCásãn á´áäÃáQ CáÇá¿

just as He delivered Your message, executed Your command, and

counselled Your servants!

ãUáÆCá×ã»åÂB áÅåÒáÖ ãÐãÂD ÔáÃá®áÑ ãÐå×áÃá®

áÀâWBáÒáÃá{ CáËáä×ãRáÊ åÄá¯å_B áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh on the Day of Resurrection make our Prophet (Your blessings be upon him and

his Household)

CætãÃå`áÆ áÀåËãÆ áÌ×ãä×ãRáäËÂB

áPáoåºáF

the nearest of the prophets to You in seat,

æUá®Cá·áw áÀåËãÆ åÈâÏáËá¿åÆáF áÑ

the ablest of them before You with intercession,

Bænåkáº á½ákåËã® åÈâÏáäÃá_áF áÑ

the greatest of them with You in measure,

CæÎCá_ á½ákåËã® åÈâÏáÏá_åÑáF áÑ

and the most eminent of them with You in rank!

èkáäÇádâÆ ãÁDáÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá®


O Alláh bless Mu<ammad and the Household of Mu<ammad,

âÐáÊCáÎåoâQ åÈãä«á® áÑ âÐáÊCá×åËâQ åµãäoáw

áÑ

ennoble his edifice, magnify his proof,

âÐáXá®Cá·áw åÄáäRá»áW áÑ âÐáÊBáq×ãÆ

åÄãä»á[ áÑ

make weighty his balance, accept his intercession,

âÐáÏå_áÑ å¤ä×áQ áÑ âÐáXáÃ×ãsáÑ åPãäoáº

áÑ

bring near his mediation, whiten his face,

âÐáXá_ánáj å°á¶ånB áÑ âÍánÒâÊ áäÈãWáF áÑ

complete his light, and raise his degree!

ÔáÃá® CáËã×åcáF áÑ

Make us live according to his Sunna, make us die in his creed,

âÐáÃ×ãRás CáËãQ åÀâÃåsB áÑ âÐá_CáÏåËãÆ

CáËãQ åmâg áÑ

take us on his road, make us travel his path,

ãÐãWáoåÆâp Øã¶ CáÊåoâxåcB áÑ ãÐãXá®Cá¦ ãÄåÎáF åÌãÆ CáËåÃá¯å_B áÑ

place us among the people who obey him, muster us in his band,

ãÐãsåGá¿ãQ CáËã»åsB áÑ âÐá¢åÒác CáÊåjãnåÑáF

áÑ

lead us up to his pool, and give us to drink of his cup!

ãÐãÂD áÑ èkáäÇádâÆ ÔáÃá® áäÈâÏáäÃÂB

ãäÄá{ áÑ

And bless Mu<ammad and his Household,

áÀãÃå£á¶áÑ á½ãoå×ág åÌãÆ âÄâÆåGáÖ CáÆ áÄá£å¶áF EáÏãQ

âÐâ³ãäÃáRâW æTáÚá{áÀãXáÆBáoá¿ áÑ

with a blessing through which You will take him to the most excellent of Your good,

Your bounty, and Your generosity for which he hopes!

èÈÖãoá¿ èÄå£á¶áÑ èU¯ãsBáÑ èUáÇåcán Ñâl

áÀáäÊãH

You are Possessor of boundless mercy and generous bounty.

áÀãWáÙCásãn åÌãÆ á´áäÃáQ CáÇãQ ãÍãqå_B

áäÈ~âÏ~áäÃÂB

O Alláh, repay him for Your messages which he delivered,

áÀãWCáÖD åÌãÆ ÓáäjáF áÑ

Your signs which he passed on,

á½ãjCáRã¯ãÂ eá|áÊ áÑ

the good counsel he gave to Your servants,

áÀãÃ×ãRás Øã¶ ákáÎCá_ áÑ

and the struggle he undertook in Your way,

áÌ×ãQáäoá»âÇåÂB áÀãXá¿ãMáÚáÆ åÌãÆ

BækácáF áYåÖáqá_ CáÆ áÄá£å¶áF

with the best You have repaid any of Your angels brought near

áÌå×á·á§å|âÇåÂB áÌ×ãÃásåoâÇåÂB

áÀãMEá×ãRåÊáF áÑ

and Your prophets sent out and chosen!

ãÐáäÃÂB âUáÇåcánáÑ áÌÖãoãÎCáä§ÂB áÌ×ãRãä×áä§ÂB

ãÐãÂD ÔáÃá®áÑ Ðå×áÃá® âÅáÚáätÂBáÑ

âÐâWCá¿áoáQáÑ

And upon him and his Household, the good, the pure, be peace, God’s mercy, and His blessings!
