Huashan Leisure Agricultural AreaAround the area, there are all views of coffee yards. In the

daytime, visitors are provided services including coffee tasting and DIY coffee making. In the evening, visitors may enjoy the splendid view of the dazzling and glittering lights from neon lamps inside the coffee yards. In addition, “The Yunlin Sidewalk of Literature,” which is located on the intersection of Coffee Main Street, presents the unique and interest of Taiwanese language. The Yunlin Literature FootpathLocated on Yun 208 route is the Yunlin Literature Footpath,

a delicate trail designed to present Yunlin’s literary culture. The strokes of the Chinese characters on koji ceramic tiles bordering the pavement reveal writers’ and carvers’ substantial affections for their homeland. The perfect synthesis of nature and humanity makes the footpath a hot spot for hikers and tourists.

Gukeng Farmer's Association Leisure CenterGukeng Farmer's Association Leisure Center, rebuilt by a

granary, is a multi leisure center that integrates and presents the concepts of tourism, the sales of farm produce, and the instruction of the ecology of coffee. Services in the center include providing the instructions of how to make coffee, the information about the ecology of coffee, and the sales of all kinds of coffee products only made by “Chiapishan.” The center opens twelve months a year without entrance fee. It welcomes visitors to experience and enjoy the full fragrance and rich flavor of coffee here in Gukeng.

Honey Museum Honey Museum, a theme park with a sweet garden, is a

story house provided with the multi purposes of education, regimen and leisure. The park is adorned all over with those lovely and vivid embossments of honey bees, which makes it a beautiful flower garden as a fairyland. At present, there are facilities such as theme houses to provide tourists information about the ecology of honey bees, and cafes for visitors to rest and enjoy all kinds of honey products. The park welcomes visitors to enjoy the sight of the queen bees, the view of the beautiful flower fields, and honey drinks as well.

綠色隧道位於台三線往永光方向的古

坑綠色隧道全長兩公里，隧道

兩旁遍植千株五十年芒果樹，

直挺高聳、綠蔭蔽天，是新人

們拍攝美麗婚紗的絕佳熱門景

點；近年鄉公所更在隧道入口

設立了一處三角公園，提供遠

近遊客假日休閒運動之用。

Green PathThe green path, which is located on the 3rd Taiwan Provincial

Road heading to Yongguang Village, extends two kilometers in length. Along the both sides of the path are thousands of fifty-year-old mango trees. Those straight, dominant and shady trees are formed as a green belt, which makes the path an excellent hit spot for taking wedding photography. Moreover, for the past few years, the local township hall has built up a triangle park in front of the entry of the path, for the purpose of providing the tourists from everywhere a place to engage in leisure activities on holidays.

三好米休閒農場(籌設中)占地八甲的三好米休閒農場，堅持有機栽植園區

Fu-lu-shou Tourism WineryFu-lu-shou Tourism Winery was

establ ished to let everyone learn to appreciate and cherish what our ancestors have passed down. In 2008, the Ministry of Economic Affairs recognizes i t as one of the most exceptional wineries since it presents the complete history of the development of Taiwan’s winery. In addition to the farming and winery antiques, the museum also exhibits traditional fermentation processes, the wine storage tunnels, and Fu-lu-shou Winery’s production procedures. Moreover, visitors can taste and choose wines, make Shaoxing wine egg, and learn more about fruit fermentation through DIY classes.

坪頂觀光茶園林內鄉的坪頂村地形為高地平原，有著全鄉最高的

眺望點，遠望視野極佳。而其四周多原始林且氣候溫

差大、霧氣重，形成極佳的種茶環境，烏龍及金萱為

主力茶種。現今由當地農會推廣中心將

此建構成為茶葉文化園區，品茗之際亦

可遊賞茶園文化。山嵐裡顯清靜、霧濤

中漫茶香是這裡獨特的自然人文風味。

Pingding Tourism Tea GardenThe topography of Linnei Township is

highland plain, and it owns the highest spot for sight in the entire village, with excellent vision. Besides, since there is drastic climatic changes around its primitive woods and also strong fog, it has, therefore, form such outstanding tea-growing environment. Oolong and Jinsyuan are of the primary tea species for promotion. Presently, the promotional center of local agricultural association has constructed the area into tea cultural park so that you can also appreciate the tea-garden culture as you enjoy tea.

林內紫斑蝶季每年三月當氣候猶是乍

暖還寒的時節，一群紫色

的天際嬌客—紫斑蝶，正

要從高雄的茂林起飛，經

寶來、曾文水庫、嘉義竹

崎等地逐漸北遷。位於雲

林的林內鄉，其坪頂村正位於

紫斑蝶北返的蝶道上。鄉公所

每年約於3月底至4月初舉辦紫

斑蝶季一系列的活動，邀請民

眾一同來觀賞紫斑蝶越冬遷徙的

自然生態奇景。

Linnei Euploea Season In March every year, when the

climate is getting warm yet still quite cold, a school of lovely visitors in purple Euploea is about to migrate from Maolin of Kaohsiung as they fly from Baolai, Zengwun Reservoir, and Jhuci of Chiayi to the north. As for Linnei Township located at Yunlin, its Pingding is located exactly on the way that Euploea is returning to the north. The village office will sponsor a series of activities on Euploea every March and April, and the general public is invited to appreciate the natural wonder of Euploea migrate back to the north after winter.

Yunding FarmUpon seeing the poetic bamboo cottage in an emerald

world of tea garden, we are such impressed by the quietude and serenity of Yunding Farm. The farm provides lesson to experience tea making so that visitors can appreciate the procedures. Besides, the farm also makes its own tea-plum that tastes with mild sour sweetness, being most unique taste. Furthermore, the farm raises wild chickens, and it is considered some most special dish if it is prepared with wild vegetable and pickled bamboo shoots. With a trip to summit of mountain and cloud, you can surely be well cultivated with the serenity of the tea garden physically and mentally.

Cultural Park of Linbei Farming Village Linbei community is the farming clusters that have embraced

the symbiotic existence of Hakka and Fujianese. During the early days, though agriculture was difficult, growing of tobacco leaves was introduced since the soil of Jhuoshuei River was rather fertile. Therefore, we still can find relics of antiquated tobacco building that witnesses the life of our ancestors in early days. Within the campus, it is found into areas for cultural guided-tour, and tourism fruit-picking, and there are also sight-seeing spots as irrigation museum, Liansiantai, Douliou Dazunjiao, No. 3 water-gate, Digital Life Hall, cultural tunnel, and hundred-year glutinous rice bridge-pillar, being the model of re-construction for community culture.

農田水利文物館中本村的「農田水利文物館」是國內首座介紹農

業水利工程的數位展示館。除有多媒體的簡報外，也

透過比例縮小的模型展示區，在模擬的截水、取水、

導水過程中，瞭解灌溉系統的供水全貌。此外，尚有

「八田與一技師」展示室、農器具陳列區、水利文獻

參閱區等，完整介紹那引領臺灣奠下富庶基礎的農業

水利工程。

Cultural Relic Halls of Farming Irrigation”Cultural Relic Hall of Farming Irrigation” in Jhongben is the

very digital demonstration hall that introduces farming irrigation works. Aside from presentation with multimedia, it has also resorted to a model demonstration area in miniature ratio to simulate the processes of water interception, water extraction, and water guidance so that one can have a full picture of the water supply through the irrigation system. There are also the demonstration room on “Eight-field and One technician,” display area of farming utensils and tools, and literature reference area on water irrigation, which have introduces the agricultural irrigations works that laid down the foundation for prosperity of Taiwan.

太平老街來到斗六市一定得來逛逛太平老街，為了家鄉味的

肉圓，為了濃稠鮮美的魷魚羹，為了冰涼彈牙的圓仔

冰，當然，更為了漫步在日治時期浪漫的氛圍中。太

平老街上矗立著一整排巴洛克式的樓房，以清水磚打

造，兩層樓高的樓面上滿是精美的古典水泥雕飾，為

了歷史街區的再造計畫，將太平老街的道路重新鋪設

規劃，統一商圈招牌，讓遊客悠哉享受老街風情。

Taiping Old StreetTaiping old street is indispensable to a journey to Douliou City.

The nostalgic meat dumpling, the delicious squid thick soup, the cool rice ball ice, and the romantic atmosphere of Tapanese ruled period are all attractive. A raw of baroque houses along the street are built by simple bricks with delicate and classic concrete decoration on the 2-floor surface. For reconstructing the historical street, the street are redesigned and paved. The brands in the shopping area are united. Tourists can relax and enjoy the landscape of the old street.

The Sightseeing Garden at Wutiaogang Ansifu Jhang-Li-Mo Ciansuei Temple

It is located at No. 17 Taiwan Provincial Road, close by Ansifu of Wutiaogang Harbor, and it is considered as the most historical and the expansive temple within the county. Two years ago, the temple authority had resorted to the legend of Wu Ciansuei who personally visited the living cave of phoenix, and had additionally constructed the garden behind the temple embodied with phoenix city and heavenly dragon pool in between of the two major visitors’ building of Sui Yang and Phoenix. In

the garden, there are mixture of pavilions, curved bridges and waters, lovely flowers and trees so that visitors can wander themselves along the spot. It is considered as one of the newly-emerging sight-seeing spots of Taisi Township in recent years.

光華社區農漁村文物教育展示館曾入選為全國景觀風貌改造大獎的光華村是台西

的模範村，走進社區中小巧雅緻的口袋公園，色彩鮮

豔的圍牆壁畫，還有逗趣活潑的車鼓陣與牛犁陣等民

俗表演，讓人對這典型的西岸農漁村有了另一番嶄新

見解。而村長丁金城有感於年輕人對於早期農村生活

形態的淡忘，特將村內閒置的三合院農舍重新粉刷

修建，保留主建體原味成立「農漁村文物教育展示

館」。館內展示近百種的農村古物，從海口人盛飯的

竹簍器皿、牛犁、風鼓、打草機到固定於腳踏車後方

的舊式菜籃等應有盡有，更有村長夫人運用舊電線、

保麗龍、免洗碗筷、魚鱗片等製作之環保花，唯妙唯

肖的精緻手藝，令人嘆為觀止，過目難忘。而展示館

前亦規劃古亭畚、社區圖書館、籃球場、遊戲區、交

誼室等空間，提供造訪的遊客與當地居民一個寬敞幽

靜的遊憩空間。

Taisi in the national reconstruction award for landscape style. When you walk into the pocket-like small and refined park of the community, you will find colorful mural painting, and there are also vivid and lively performances of cart-drum formation and cow-plow formation that one would have a brand new understanding to this typical Taisi farming and fishing village. Din Jin Cheng, who is head of the village feels sad about young people today to have gradually forgotten the modes of farming life, has especially re-painted and renovated three of the idle farm houses, and set up the “Educational and Demonstration of Hall for Fishing relics” with the previous style and flavor

retained. Within the hall, we can f ind exhibits of nearly a hundred kinds of farming relics, which vary from bamboo utensils to hold r ice, cow plough, wind-pipe, straw machine, and the o ld- fash ioned basket fixed at the back of bicycle. In addition, there are also environmental-friendly flowers made with old cable, polyform, instant chopsticks, and fish scale by the lady of Mrs. Ding, and those artworks are so delicately rendered that it is hard for us to tell if it is real or not. In front of the hall, it is also planned with spots for old pavilion, community l ibrary, basketball f ield, amusement a rea , and common room so that it can provide as a leisure, spacious, and quiet spot f o r v i s i t o r s and l oca l residents.

六輕工業區 六輕工業區已成為麥寮當地的另類觀光景點。在廠

區內可見到重工業廠房的宏偉壯觀外，工業區本身亦

有較軟性的設施。比如號稱「小白宮」的

Gongfan Temple “Gongfan Temple” is found within Maifong Village, and the

Matsu worship can be traced back to 320 years before, thus it is designated as county-level monument. Within the court, there are well decorated pillars and sculptured ridgepole. The building is with four entrances and three courts, and though it has been renovated times it has still retained its primitive facade. It has kept several sculptures made by some most famous craftsmen, and there is also eight-diagram well produced by Sidi school, being the earliest koji pottery. Therefore, the temple is believed to be the excellent spot of treasure hunting for temple sculpture arts.

海清宮與木麻黃自行車道 海清宮祀奉北宋明臣包拯，民間一向視鐵面無私的

包公為司法之神，而已有超過兩百年歷史的三條崙海

清宮，是台灣包青天廟的祖廟，

每到吉慶祭典，信徒聚集，熱鬧

非凡。海清宮南側的防風林自行

車道，兩岸木麻黃夾道，濃密的

first temple worshiping Bao Jheng in Taiwan. Lots of disciples gather on ceremonies. The bike path is along the windbreak forest on the southern side of Haicing Temple. Both sides of the path are beefwoods. The branches shelter the path from the sun light. There are also linear wetlands for birds and insects to inhabit. It forms coastal wetlands ecology. The path between Haicing Temple and Potzuliao Harbor is 4 kilometers long. Tourists like to stroll or ride bikes with the blowing breeze here.

Santiaolun Sea Bath Santiaolun Sea Bath is located in Nanlun Village, Sihho

Township. It is equipped with healthy walkway, scenery walkway, and kids-swimming pool. People come camping and enjoy BBQ with the coastal landscape. There is a Jheng Cheng Gong Museum here. After the death of Jheng Cheng Gong, one of his offspring lived in Yunlin County. He was enshrined by five villages alternatively. Because he represents the embodiment of divinity, people in the villages worship him. The celebration for th alternation on January 16th in lunar calendar is a grand occasion. In order to preserve his historical relics, people establish the museum in Santiaolun for tourists to visit. It is a specific human landscape here.

農漁村生活文化館 為了展現四湖鄉的農漁村生活，以地方產業發展為主

題，成立農漁村生活文化館。一到農漁村生活文化館，

兩層樓高的馬賽克壁畫，立刻將漁村生活，生動展現眼

前。進到館內，可先參觀一樓的文獻，了解四湖鄉的沿

革與發展，並且瞧瞧四湖鄉特有的武術精神文化。再上

到二樓，參觀難得一見的台灣漁村文物，對於台灣的養

殖產業，如文蛤、鰻魚有相當詳細的介紹，來此一趟，

箔仔寮漁港箔仔寮漁港位於四湖鄉與口湖鄉的交界，自建港以

來，提供漁筏舟船休息停靠超過三十年，為雲林縣重

要的漁港之一。漁港旁綿延的海堤可以讓遊客自在漫

北港觀光大橋於民國92年竣工的「北港觀光大橋」，主體為龍形

鋼拱結構，全長450公尺，橋身跨越北港溪，串連起北

港朝天宮與嘉義新港水仙宮兩個宗教信仰據點，成為

雲林新興的觀光大橋。而橋樑本身尚會配合宗教觀光

做造景設計，周圍亦規劃觀景台、自行車道、生態公

園及步道等，參拜媽祖之餘亦可來此閒步悠遊、放鬆

Beigang BridgeConstructed in 2003, 450 meters in length, Beigang Bridge

was built with the main structure of dragon-shaped steel arch. It crosses Beigang River and connects two religious sites, Chaotien Temple in Beigang and Shueisian Temple in Singang, Jiayi, which makes it a new tourism bridge in Yunlin. Besides, the bridge is designed with landscapes under the concept of religious tourism. There are also viewing terrace, bikeway, eco-park and promenade built around the bridge. 北港糖廠糖業曾是臺灣早期倚重的產業之一，全臺糖廠為數

不少。而北港糖廠建於日治時期西元1910年，製糖產

量曾居臺灣糖廠第四大，如今糖廠多數被歷史按下了

Beigang Sugar FactorySugar industry was once one of the most important

businesses, and there were many sugar refineries in Taiwan. Built in Japanese colonial period, 1910, Beigang Sugar Factory used to be the fourth largest one among those sugar refineries in Taiwan by its output. However, most of the refineries were closed as time passed away, thought we still may see the relics remained. Currently, Beigang Sugar Factory still keeps producing liquid sugar. Also, an engine of a steam train which proves the old good times of sugar industry is exhibited in the park at the entrance of the factory. 振文書院臺灣於清朝時期漢學漸盛，各地紛紛籌設書院，現

在位於西螺鎮廣福里的「振文書院」前身為清嘉慶二

年(西元1797年)所建之文昌帝君祠，後由振文詩社王有

成等人倡議設立書院以供地方興學。建築上屬傳統二

進式格局，處處可見書院文風氣象，內有字紙亭一座

以示敬賢惜字。民國74年政府將書院劃歸為國家三級

古蹟，成為西螺鎮重要文化遺產。

Jhen Wen AcademyWhen sinology was booming in Cing Dynasty, many colleges

were set up in Taiwan. And “Jhen Wen Academy” located at Guangfu today is, actually, former Wun-Chang Emperor Temple which was built during the 2nd year of Emperor Jia Cing (1797). Later, it was suggested by Wong, You-Chang and others from Jhen Wun Poet Society to set up school for the locality. The building is considered of two-entrance layout. Inside the college, there is a paper pavilion, showing respect for sage and literatures. In 1985, the government has classified the college as class-three national monument, and it has become the important cultural heritage.

Siluo Bridge Siluo Bridge was once

dubbed as the “Top First of Far East” and it stretches across Jhuo Shuei Creek, measuring 1939m linking up Changhua and Yunlin County. In the ancient times, there was rail track for small train by Taiwan Sugar Company, forming the grand sign of train and vehicle driving in parallel. From its construction in the 40s to today, the history of the bridge has lasted for

more than 60 years. Though its function of transportation is dwindling the brilliant red color bridge like a giant dragon has so impressed in our nationals that it has already become the cultural and spiritual landmark within the county.

賜安宮位於東勢鄉市集處的賜安宮，舊名四安宮，主祀潮

州三山國王，創建於清朝乾隆年間，原為茅屋供奉，歷

經改建，成為現今風貌，為雲林縣內歷史最悠久的三山

國王廟。三山國王指的是從廣東省揭西縣河婆鎮隨潮州

人民渡海而來的巾山、明山與獨山山神，原為客家人之

信仰神祇，後因族群融合，遂為東勢鄉閩、客族群共同

之信仰中心。民國88年，廟方增建五層文化大樓，以

增進賜安宮在信仰與觀光之功能。每年農曆2月25日為

三山國王聖誕，氣氛歡騰、裊裊香煙、場面熱鬧 。

Sihan TempleSihan Temple is in the market of Dongshih Township and

its old name is Sihan Temple. It was built during the Qianlong Reign, worshipping Three Mountain Lords. It is reconstructed as the present building. It is the oldest Three Mountain Lords temple in Yunlin County. Three Mountain Lords are gods of Mt. Jin, Ming, and Du, who came with Chaojhou people from Hepo Township, Jiesi County, Guangdong Province. Because of the racial integration, they became the common belief of Mandarin and Hakka people. A 5-floor mansion was built in 1999 in order to promote faith and tourism. The cheerful and populous annual celebration of Three Mountain Lords is held on February 25 in the lunar calendar every year.

Huwei Sugar RefineryHuwei Sugar Refinery was build nearby the center of Huwei

Township in 1908. Huwei Sugar Refinery is older than 100 years, but still remains its grace. The huge chimney takes care of Huwei Township like a guardian angel. The ice cream is every tourist’s favorite here. They taste the favorite ice cream and stroll in nearby Tongsin Park, feeling relaxed and comfortable. Huwei Sugar Refinery is still in operation, so tourists must subscribe in advance if they want to visit the interior of the sugar refinery.

虎尾鐵橋已有百年歷史的虎尾鐵橋是日英合作所興建，為配

合虎尾糖廠的原料運輸，成為當時台灣少數行駛糖廠

火車的鐵橋，然而隨著台糖火車的停駛，虎尾鐵橋也

H u we i I ro n Bridge

Huwei was build by the cooperation between Br i ta in and Japan 100 years ago. For the delivery of sugar, it was responsible for t ransport ing t ra ins f rom the s u g a r r e f i n e r y. Huwei Iron Bridge

retired with the shutdown of sugar trains, turning into a historic and cultural relic in Yunlin. Its length is 437 meters and it goes across Huwei River. The appended wooden bridge is still an important channel for pedestrians to get across Huwei River.

歷史建築群雲林故事館、雲林布袋戲館與合同廳舍為三處日

據時代留下來的歷史建築群，建造年代約在大正時期

（西元1920年前後）。雲林故事館前身為虎尾郡守官

邸，而雲林布袋戲館的前身為虎尾郡役所，即當年的

警察局，合同廳舍則相當於現在的聯合辦公室；歷史

建築群保存完整，並結合台灣傳統文化，賦予建築群

新的生命與責任，相當值得一訪。

Japanese Reign. They are built during Taisho Re ign ( abou t 1920 ) . Yunlin Story House was the presidential residence of Huwei, Yunlin Puppet Show House was Huwei District office, and He tong T ing She was a united office. These buildings are well-preserved, combining traditional culture in Taiwan and regaining new life and responsibility. They are worth visiting.

was established for traditional towel production. In 2003, the competition against China’s cheaper towels threatened the future of Xinglong factory. Nevertheless, Mr. Ying-Sui Lin, the second-generation manager, widely secured and expanded the market with exquisite towels that were both practical and visually attractive, becoming the appointed gifts for propaganda of well-known companies.

In 2008, Xinglong Towel Factory passed the assessment of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and became the first remarkable tourism factory o f towels . in Dayou v i l lage, Lunbei t o w n s h i p a n d m a i n l y enshrines Syuantian God. With 19 years and more than a hundred million, the temple had been rebuilt to a new look with a nine-floor high main structure, grand and splendid outside appearance of dragon-shaped pillars and stone carving lions as well as the delicate octagonal p l a f o n d a n d e x q u i s i t e carvings inside, which makes the temple a famous Taoist center in Lunbei.

百年茅草屋沈宅是建於清朝的百年老宅，特色在於屋頂那一

層層厚實的茅草，茅草每六年就要換一次，大量的茅

草使用量曾讓沈福來老先生傷透腦筋，一度想用鐵皮

替代，在相關人員的協助之下，終於找到得以使老宅

保存下去的茅草。無鋼筋水泥的建築主體也是特色之

一，使用容易彎曲的竹子，必須要有特殊的技巧才能

建出直挺方整的房子，相當值得一訪。

One-Hundred-Year-Old Thatched HouseThe house of Shen Family is a one-hundred-year-old house

built in Cing Dynasty. It features the layers of thick thatch on the roof. The thatch is changed every six years. The massive thatch bothered Mr. Fu-lai Shen, so he thought of the replacement of the tin roof. With the help of related faculty, he found thatch to maintain the looks of the old house. It also features the main body without reinforced concrete. It takes special techniques to build the upright and squared house with bendable bamboo, so the house is worth visiting.

順安宮與斗南菜脯街順安宮建於同治年間，主祀天上聖母媽祖，至今已近

150年的歷史，雖曾歷經數次拆毀與重建，如今仍為斗

南鎮重要的信仰中心。順安宮前的明昌路擺滿了各式

菜脯、醃瓜類與酸菜，所以當地人都以菜脯街稱之，每

到媽祖誕辰，絡繹不絕的香客將讓菜脯街點綴的熱鬧非

凡，也讓順安宮聖二媽多了個「菜脯媽」的有趣暱稱。

Shun-An Temple and Dounan Caifu StreetShun-An Temple is built under the

Tongjhih Reign. It is almost 150 years old and experienceed several times of destruction and reconstruction. It remains an important belief center

in Dounan. The Mingchang Road before the temple is full of preserved vegetables, pickled cucumbers, and pickled cabbages, so local people calls it as Caifu Street. On Goddess Matsu's birthdays, Caifu Street is crowded with disciples, so Matsu in Shun-An Temple is also called "Caifu Ma."

良好番薯種苗場水林鄉栽培番薯的歷史相當悠久，到了民國五十年

代，台灣經濟開始轉好，人們注重起飲食的質感，也

就是食味性與營養性。場長林建男先生的父親即是在

種植番薯，然而番薯要種得好，首先要克服的問題就

是病害，因此在嘉義農業試驗所的輔導之下，林先生

開始從事無毒種苗的繁殖，目前的種苗生產量，可供

Following the steps of his father, the owner Mr. Jiannan L i n h a s g r o w n sweet potatoes for years, and started breeding nunpoison potato seeds under the guidance from Chiayi Agricultural Experiment Station to overcome the disease problems of the plants. 鎮安宮「鎮安宮」自清康熙元年建廟以降，三百多年來一

直是褒忠鄉民的信仰中心，宮中祀奉主神為12尊的五

年千歲，而每年農曆10月29日為各千歲的綜合聖誕，

祭祀活動熱鬧非凡。此外，固定於每年元宵節進行繞

境祈安活動，由各庄輪流供應飯菜讓各地信眾、陣頭

Three Mountain Lords TempleAccording to the legend, Three Mountain Lords Temple

was built by Cantonese people during the Kangsi Reign in Cing Dynasty. I t has been built for longer than 300 years, appraised as third-grade ancient r e m a i n s . T h re e Mounta in Lo rds are enshr ined in the front hall and their wives are in the back hall with Goddess of Child-

Bearing. The entrance is decorated with stone sculptures made by craftsmen from China during the Showa Reign. The cultural relics in the temple, such as Jiaojhih Pottery, stone censer, and inscribed boards, are ancient and historic. They are delicate and with historic value.

大埤鄉抽水站休閒公園由於大埤鄉位於三條河流分散的帶狀地形，每到颱

風季節，所挾帶的大量豪雨時常讓大埤鄉頓時成為水

鄉澤國，為解決大埤鄉民長久以來的水患之苦，設立

大埤鄉抽水站，解除居民們生命與財產的威脅，並將

抽水站周圍修建為

休閒公園，設有觀

景台、木造涼亭、

步道等等設施，優

美的環境與自然景

觀，成為放鬆心情

的好地方。

Dapi Township Pumping Station Leisure Park

D a p i To w n s h i p is a l inear land with three r ivers, so the heavy ra in brought by typhoons usually causes f loods here. In order to solve the problem of flood, Dapi Township Pumping Station is established and removes the threat to residents’ life and property. The pumping station is built as a leisure park with viewing platform, wooden pavilion, and walkways. The beautiful environment and natural landscape makes the park a good place for relaxation.
