Synthesis and Properties of a Conjugated Acceptor Material for Organic Solar Cells Based on Indacenobis(dithieno[3,2-b:2ꞌ,3ꞌ-d]pyran) Xin Ke, Ling-xian Meng, Xiang-jian Wan, Xin Zhang, Mei-jia Chang, Chen-xi Li, Yong-sheng Chen
This article introduces a new non fullerene acceptor we designed and synthesized, named IDTO2HT-2F. With the electron-donating capability
of the unit improved, the new acceptor has a narrow bang gap. The organic solar cell based on the acceptor IDTO2HT-2F exhibits a PCE of
10.85% with a high short circuit current density. It provides an effective method for designing new non fullerene acceptors.

We designed and synthesized a new non fullerene acceptor for organic solar
cells based on indacenobis(dithieno[3,2-b:2',3'-d]pyran). The acceptor has a
narrow band gap of 1.30 eV with the absorption edge extended to 956 nm.
The organic solar cell device based on the acceptor and the polymer PM6
exhibits a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 10.85% with a high short
circuit current density (Jsc) of 20.61 mA cm−2.

Particle morphology control in heterophasic copolymerization of propylene to increased EPR contents was realized by simultaneous cross-linking
in the formation of EPR. Simultaneous cross-linking drastically altered the EPR’s viscoelastic properties, making it much less prone to flow under
polymerization conditions and thus leading to a controllable morphology development.

A series of vanadium complexes with promising stabilities and high activities were
synthesized and employed as effective catalysts in ethylene (co)polymerization.
Cyclic olefin copolymers with high comonomer incorporations, high molecular
weights and high glass transition temperatures were obtained in high yields.

Preparation and Characterization of Electrospinning Crosslinked Gel Polymer Electrolytes Yun-ni Chen, Qin Xiao, Qing-yin Li, Shi-jie Ren
A series of crosslinked gel polymer electrolytes (e-CGPEs) were prepared by electrospinning technique and Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction. The
introduction of crosslinked network improves high-temperature dimensional stability of the nanofiber membranes. In addition, the e-CGPEs exhibit
excellent electrochemical properties.

A cationic surfactant-responsive poly(acrylic acid) two-
dimensional photonic crystal hydrogel was prepared. It is easy to
operate and has the characteristics of reusability and visualization,
which is expected to be used for the determination of cationic
surfactants in water.

Measuring the Strength of S/Se Based Dynamic Covalent Bonds Jia-hao Xia, Hong-bin Li, Hua-ping Xu
We prepared poly(ethylene glycol) attached substrates linked by a single bond of either
SS, SeS, or SeSe. Atomic force microscope-based single molecule force spectroscopy
measurements of the three bonds indicated their strengths decreased as SS > SeS > SeSe.

Investigation of Chiral Recognition Mechanism of Polysaccharide Derivatives Based on Molecular Simulation En-ting Deng, Wan-ying Bi, Bo Liu, Li-li Zhang, Jun Shen
Chiral recognition mechanism of cellulose tris(phenylcarbamate) and amylose tris(phenylcarbamate) is investigated by molecular simulation of
interactions between derivatives and enantiomers based on molecular mechanics and molecular dynamics. The results indicated that chiral
recognition was significantly dependent on the synergistic interactions between polysaccharide derivatives and enantiomers at the chiral grooves
formed by the carbamates and aromatic rings of the derivatives with different stabilities.
