สวัสดีค่ะ มวลมิตรโรแทเรียนที่รัก

เพิ่งจะกล่าวคำาว่า“สวัสดีปีใหม่”แบบชาวไทยกันไปไม่นาน

นี่ก็กำาลังจะย่างเข้าสู่เทศกาลตรุษจีนซึ่งถือเป็นวันฉลองปีใหม่ของคน

เชื้อสายจีนทั่วโลกกันอีกแล้วท่านที่มีเชื้อสายจีนต่างก็รอวันสำาคัญนี้

ดิฉันอยากให้ท่านทราบที่มาที่ไปของวันตรุษจีน

ตรุษจีน เป็นเทศกาลที่สำาคัญที่สุดของจีน เพราะชาว

จีนถือว่า วันตรุษจีน คือวันขึ้นปีใหม่ตามปฏิทินจีน เช่นเดียวกับ

สงกรานต์วันปีใหม่ไทย ดังนั้นชาวจีนจึงให้ความสำาคัญกับเทศกาลนี้

เป็นอย่างยิ่งและมีการเฉลิมฉลองทั่วโลกโดยเฉพาะชุมชนขนาดใหญ่

ของคนเชื้อสายจีน ซึ่งในแต่ละพื้นที่ก็จะมีพิธีเฉลิมฉลองแตกต่างกัน

ไปสำาหรับปี2555นี้วันตรุษจีนตรงกับวันที่23มกราคม

สำาหรับที่มาของ วันตรุษจีน นั้น เชื่อกันว่าประเพณีนี้มีมา

นานกว่าสี่พันปีแล้ว จัดขึ้นเพื่อฉลองเทศกาลฤดูใบไม้ผลิ เดิมที่ไม่

ได้เรียกว่าเทศกาลตรุษจีน แต่มีชื่อเรียกต่างกันตามยุคสมัย นั่นคือ

เมื่อ 2100 ปีก่อนคริสตศักราชจะเรียกว่า “ซุ่ย” ซึ่งมีความหมายถึง

การโคจรครบหนึ่งรอบของดาวจูปิเตอร์จนกระทั่งต่อมาในยุค1000

กว่าปีก่อนคริสตศักราช เทศกาลตรุษจีนจะถูกเรียกว่า “เหนียน”

หมายถึงการเก็บเกี่ยวได้ผลอุดมสมบูรณ์นั่นเอง

นอกจากนี้ วันตรุษจีน ยังมีชื่อเรียกอีกอย่างหนึ่งว่า “วันชุง

เจ๋”ซึ่งหมายถึงเทศกาลดูใบไม้ผลิหรือขึ้นปีเพาะปลูกใหม่เพราะช่วง

ก่อนตรุษจีนนั้นตรงกับฤดูหนาว ไม่สามารถทำาการเกษตรได้ ดังนั้น

เมื่อเข้าสู่ฤดูใบไม้ผลิที่มีอากาศเหมาะสมแก่การเพาะปลูก ชาวจีนจึง

สามารถทำานาทำาสวนได้อีกครั้งหลังจากผ่านพ้นฤดูหนาวมานั่นเอง

ส่วนการกำาหนดวันตรุษจีนนั้นตามประเพณีเทศกาลตรุษ

จีนจะเริ่มตั้งแต่วันที่ 23 เดือน 12 ตามปฏิทินจันทรคติของจีน ไป

จนถึงวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำาเดือนอ้ายตามปฏิทินจันทรคติของจีน และถือว่า

คืนวันที่30เดือน12เป็นวันส่งท้ายปีเก่าส่วนวันที่1เดือน1คือ

วันชิวอิกหมายถึงวันแรกของฤดูใบไม้ผลิ

การเตรียมงานเพื่อการเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลตรุษจีนนั้น จะ

เริ่มขึ้นตั้งแต่หนึ่งเดือนก่อน วันตรุษจีน (คล้ายกับวัน คริสต์มาสของ

ประเทศตะวันตก) โดยผู้คนจะเริ่มซื้อข้าวของต่างๆ เพื่อประดับ

ตกแต่งบ้านเรือนและเตรียมทำาความสะอาดครั้งใหญ่ตั้งแต่ชั้นบนลง

ชั้นล่าง เนื่องจากมีความเชื่อว่าจะเป็นการปัดกวาดสิ่งที่ไม่ดีออกไป

ภายในบ้านทั้งประตู หน้าต่าง จะประดับประดาไปด้วยสีแดง และ

กระดาษสีแดงที่มีคำาอวยพรให้อายุยืนร่ำารวยอยู่ดีมีสุขฯลฯ

จากนั้นครอบครัวจะร่วมรับประทานอาหารที่ล้วนแต่มีความ

หมายมงคลทั้งสิ้น เช่น กุ้ง จะหมายถึงชีวิตที่รุ่งเรืองและความสุข

เป๋าฮื้อแห้งหมายถึงทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างที่ดี สลัดปลาสดจะนำามาซึ่งความ

โชคดี จี้ไช่ (ผมเทวดา) สาหร่าย จะนำาความร่ำารวยมาให้ และขนม

ต้ม (Jiaozi) หมายถึงบรรพชนอวยพร หลังจากทานอาหารค่ำาแล้ว

ทุกคนในครอบครัวจะนั่งกันจนเช้าเพื่อรอวันใหม่โดยการเล่นเกม

เล่นไพ่หรือดูรายการทีวีที่เกี่ยวกับวันตรุษจีนและในวันนี้จะต้องไม่

โกรธริษยาหรือไม่พอใจเพื่อเป็นสิริมงคลที่ดีสำาหรับปีที่กำาลังจะมา

ถึงนอกจากนี้อีกสิ่งหนึ่งที่ถือเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของวันตรุษจีนคือ“อั่ง

เปา”ซึ่งมีความหมายว่า“กระเป๋าแดง”หรือจะใช้คำาว่า“แต๊ะเอีย”ซึ่ง

มีความหมายว่า“ผูกเอว”จากที่คนสมัยก่อนชอบร้อยเงินเป็นพวงผูก

ไว้ที่เอวโดยการให้อั่งเปานี้คู่แต่งงานจะให้เงินเด็กๆและผู้ใหญ่ที่ยัง

ไม่ได้แต่งงานในซองสีแดง หลังจากนั้นทุกคน ในครอบครัว จะออก

มาจากบ้านเพื่อกล่าวสวัสดีปีใหม่ในหมู่ญาติ และด้วยเพื่อนบ้าน ซึ่ง

คงคล้ายกับการที่ชาวตะวันตกพูดว่า “Letbygonesbebygones”

(อะไรที่ผ่านไปแล้วก็ให้มันผ่านไป)

ดิฉันไม่มีเชื้อสายจีน แต่ได้มีโอกาสใกล้ชิดกับชาวจีน เป็นที่

น่ายินดีที่ชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนไม่เหมือนกับชาวจีนประเทศอื่นๆ ไม่ว่า

จะเป็นไทยเชื้อสายจีนหรือคนจีนเชื้อสายไทย เราก็คนไทยเหมือนกัน

รักชาติ ศาสน์ กษัตริย์ เป็นน้ำาหนึ่งใจเดียวกัน ไม่ได้แตกแยกกันแต่

อย่างใด e-news ฉบับนี้ คณะกรรมการประชาสัมพันธ์ภาค จึงขอ

ขออวยพรให้ทุกท่านร่ำารวยๆสุขภาพแข็งแรงคิดสิ่งใดสมปรารถนา

We’vejustsaid“HappyNewYear”andit’sgetting

into theChineseNewYear already. It’s considered the

celebrationofChinesepeopleallovertheworld.Thoseof

youwithChineseancestryarewaitingforthisday.Iwould

likeyoutoknowtheoriginoftheChineseNewYear.

ChineseNewYear is themost importantdayof

Chinesepeoplebecausetheyconsideredittobethestart-

ing day of a New Year according to Chinese calendar,

justlikeSongkranistheThaiNewYear.Chinesepeople

giveutmostimportanttothisoccasionandtherearecel-

ebrationsallovertheworldespecially inareaswithlarge

concentrationofChinese.Thecelebrationsvaryfromarea

to area. This year,2012, theChineseNewYear is on

January23.

AsfortheoriginoftheChineseNewYear,itwas

believed that this tradition existed for over 4,000 years

ago.ItwasheldtocelebratetheSpringSeason.Inthe

oldtimeitwasnotcalled“ChineseNewYear”.Thename

variedfromerastoeras.In2100BCitwascalled“Sui”

whichmeans1orbitofJupiter.Laterin1000BC,theChi-

neseNewYearwascalled“Nian”meaningtheprosperous

harvesting.

Also,ChineseNewYearisalsocalled“SoongJae”

meaning the Spring Season or the starting of the new

plantingseasonbecausebeforeChineseNewYearwas

winter in which the weather was cold and not suitable

for farming. When spring comes with suitable weather

forfarming,Chinesepeoplecanplantriceandvegetables

againafterhavingbeenthroughwinter.

AccordingtotheChineseNewYear,thetradition

willstartfromthe23rddayofthe12thmonthoftheChi-

neselunarcalendartothe15thdayofthe1stmonthand

itisconsideredthe30thdayofthe12thmonthistheNew

Year’sEveandthe1stis“ChewIg”meaningthefirstday

ofspring.

The preparation to celebrate the Chinese New

Year will start one month ahead (just like Christmas of

westerncountries).Peoplewillstarttobuydecorationsfor

theirhousesandhomesandprepareforthebigcleaning

dayfromtoptobottomfloors.Theybelievethatthatwill

sweepawaybadomens.Insidethehousefromthedoors

andwindowswill be decoratedwith red items and red

paperswithwellwishes.

Thenthefamilywillsitandhavedinnerwhichthe

name ismeaningful. For example, shrimpmeans life is

prosperousandhappy,drymushroommeansallthegood

things, fresh fish saladmeansgood luck, jee sai (angel

hair)seaweedwillbringwealthandJiaozimeansancestors

grantwishes.Afterdinner,everyonewillsituntilmorning

byplayinggamesorcardsorwatchTVprogramsabout

NewYear.Andonthisdaytherewillbenoanger, jeal-

ousyordissatisfactiontoprepareforthegoodthinginthe

comingyear.Also,anotherthingthatisthesymbolofthe

ChineseNewYearisthe“AngPao”meaningredpouch

ortheuseoftheword“TaeEar”whichmeanstiedaround

thewastesincethepeopleintheoldtimeliketotiedtheir

coinsontheirbelt.ThegivingofAngPaoisdonebymar-

riedcoupleswillgivetochildrenandadultswhoarenot

marriedinaredenvelope.Afterthateveryoneinthefamily

willcomeoutofthehousetosayhappyNewYeartotheir

relativesandneighbors,whichisprobablylikethewestern-

erssaying“Letbygonesbebygones”.

I don’t have any Chinese bloodline but have a

chancetobeclosetoChinesepeopleand it isabless-

ingthatChineseinThailandisn’tlikeChineseinanyother

countries no matter they are Thai people with Chinese

bloodorChinesepeoplewithThaiblood,wearestillThai

people all the same. We loveour country, religionand

Kingandactasoneandnotseparate.Thise-news,the

สโมสรได้มอบบ้านให้กับ นายประยุร จันทร์มีทรัพย์ โดยมีนายอาทร สูญจันทร์

ประธานชุมชนโรตารีวัดละมุดพร้อมกำานันผู้ใหญ่บ้านเป็นฝ่ายรับมอบซึ่งชาวบ้าน

ได้มีการทำาบุญเลี้ยงพระให้กับบ้านหลังใหม่ของนายประยูรจันทร์มีทรัพย์

ข้อมูลเบื้องต้นของนายประยูร ชุมชนมีการทำาหนังสือขอความอนุเคราะห์

มายังสโมสรเพื่อเยี่ยมดูความเป็นอยู่ของผู้พิการรายหนึ่งซึ่งป่วยด้วยโรคโปลิโอ

มาตั้งแต่เด็ก ฐานะยากจน ไม่มีทะเบียนบ้าน ความเป็นอยู่ค่อนข้างลำาบาก

อาศัยใต้ถุนบ้านผู้อื่นอยู่ บ้านหลังนี้ที่เขาได้รับ ไม่ใช่สโมสรให้เขาเพราะเพียง

ความพิการ ถึงแม้จะพิการแต่นายประยูรไม่ได้ทำาตัวให้เป็นภาระของสังคม

เลย ประกอบอาชีพรับจ้างล้างรถวันละ 150 บาทเพื่อเลี้ยงชีพ สโมสรโรตารี

นครชัยศรีเล็งเห็นคุณค่าของนายประยูร จันทร์มีทรัพย์ อยากให้เขาได้เป็นกำาลัง

ใจกับผู้พิการที่ด้อยโอกาสและเป็นตัวอย่างที่ดีคนหนึ่งของชุมชนแห่งนี้ จึงได้ร่วม

ในการประชุมใหญ่โรตารีสากลที่ อิมเพ็คเมืองทองธานี กรุงเทพ

ระหว่าง 6-8พฤษภาคม 2555ทั้ง 4 ภาคในประเทศไทยได้รับมอบ

หมายให้จัดการแสดงภาคละ1วันที่บ้านมิตรภาพHOF (Houseof

Friendship)รายละเอียดการแสดงดังนี้

1) การแสดง ขอให้ส่งรายการแสดงพร้อมรายละเอียดพอสังเขป

เกี่ยวกับการแสดงและรายชื่อผู้แสดง เพื่อจะได้จัดรายการให้เหมาะสม

ไม่น่าเบื่อ

2) ระยะเวลาของการแสดง (ความยาว) ประมาณ 8-10 ไม่

เกิน12นาทีสำาหรับการแสดงเป็นชุดๆ เช่น รำา เต้นetc. ยกเว้นการ

แสดงดนตรีเพราะต้องใช้เวลาเตรียมและขนย้ายเครื่องดนตรี

3) ความถี่ของการแสดงจัดต่อเนื่องกันหลังPlenarySessions

ทุกวันจนถึง17.30น.โดยประมาณ

4) ขนาดของเวทีเวทีใหญ่14x7mเวทีเล็ก6x3.6m

5) ตำาแหน่งของเวทีใน HOF เวทีใหญ่อยู่ด้านในเป็นครึ่งวงกลม

การแสดงบนเวทีใหญ่จะพิจารณาสำาหรับที่เป็นมืออาชีพหรือเยี่ยม

จริงๆ และมีหลากหลายลักษณะ รวมทั้งเป็นนานาชาติ การแสดงบน

เวทีเล็ก (อยู่ด้านในขวามือ ถัดจากบริเวณโต๊ะอาหารด้านขวามือ ลง

และใหญ่ แต่จริงๆ แล้ว ห่างกันมาก เดินเมื่อยเลย จึงไม่ต้องกลัวจะ

เวทีเล็กต้องการให้โรแทเรียนและครอบครัวมีส่วนร่วมแสดงความ

สามารถ จะแสดงเดี่ยวหรือเป็นทีมหรือทั้งสโมสร ได้หมดแต่ขออย่าใช้

เวลามากเกินไปจนน่าเบื่อหรือทำาให้คนกลุ่มอื่นเขาต้องรอนานเวทีเล็ก

จะทำาให้เกิดมิตรภาพได้มากมีทั้งTalentshows, Games,Dances,

contestsetcรับรองได้ฮาแน่

เปิดให้สมัครเป็นกรรมการและโฆษกภาษาต่างๆด้วยค่ะแบ่งกัน

ทำางานเป็นช่วงๆแต่ละวัน

สโมสรใดสนใจส่งการแสดงขอให้รีบส่งรายการต่างๆที่อยากเสนอ

มาด่วน ไม่ควรเกินวันที่ 30 ม.ค เพราะจะต้องเตรียมส่ง ไปจัดพิมพ์
