• to search for good and proper MSU (Manufacturing Software Unit)
• to show precise capability of the MSU.
• For manufacturing software integration and interoperability of MSUs – Software capability profiling using a standardized
method to enable users to select software that meet their functional requirements,
– Interface specifications that allow information exchange among software in industrial automation systems developed by different vendors.
