EBC 배경 (WG 04 현황)

• Before WG4– No standardized mechanism and methodology:

• to search for good and proper MSU (Manufacturing Software Unit)

• to show precise capability of the MSU.

• For manufacturing software integration and interoperability of MSUs – Software capability profiling using a standardized

method to enable users to select software that meet their functional requirements,

– Interface specifications that allow information exchange among software in industrial automation systems developed by different vendors.

표준화된 프로파일 방법이 정의되었으면, 각 장비별 activity를 정의하는 방법이 필요함

Profile 예제

• EBC(Equipment Behavior Catalogue) describes production capabilities of machine

• EBC can be used to develop model of production line– Production line consists of multiple machines and

corresponding EBCs. – Production line has a work flow associated with combine

behavior of multiple machines to make a product.

• Information can be used to identify machine status and performance
