Objectives

The class gives the students the basic information on Japanese society in order for them to adapt themselves smoothly to the Japanese environment. It also gives them an opportunity to experience some aspects of Japanese culture so that the students can enhance and deepen their understanding of the Japanese life.

ContentsThe student studies various aspects of Japanese culture. A field trip may be conducted during the term. The class is mainly conducted in English.
