国際稀覯本フェア 2018 開催に際して

浅春の候、皆様におかれましては益々ご健勝のこととお慶び申し上げます。平素はABAJ（日本古書籍商協会）並びに会員書店に格別なるお引き立てを賜り厚く御礼申し上げます。

私共ABAJ は 28 社からなる日本有数の古書店の団体です。1965 年に ILAB（国際古書籍商連盟）に加盟して以来、ILABの精神である「本を愛する人の心はひとつ」をモットーとして世界各国の古書店と協力をしながら古典籍の発掘、保存、流通と大事な役割を担ってまいりました。

この度、各国の有名古書店の参加のもと「国際稀覯本フェア 2018」を東京交通会館に於いて開催できるのは大きな喜びであります。古典籍、稀覯本には様々な表情があります。綺麗な挿絵のある本、装丁が美しい本、資料的価値のある本、手書きの本、印刷された本、それこそお宝というべき貴重な本、書籍は各時代の文化を反映しています。この機会にぜひ世界中の文化と薫りをお楽しみください。心からお待ち申し上げます。

Tokyo International Antiquarian Book Fair 2018

We are pleased to hold our book fair again in this spring, and truly appreciated for your continued support.

ABAJ is an association which consists of 28 distinguished antiquarian booksellers in Japan. In the year 1965, we joined in the activities of ILAB. From then on, we have played an important role to discover, preserve, and distribute antiquarian books, together with booksellers from all around the world under the ILAB motto “Amor Librorum Nos Unit”.

We are delighted to host the “Tokyo Antiquarian Book Fair 2018” at Tokyo Traffic Hall, not only with our members, but also with friends from abroad.Every antiquarian book has its own feature； such as beautiful illustrated book, book in fine decorated binding, first edition, manuscript, printed book, and really rare book which are almost as valuable as a treasure… all of them reflects the cultural background in which they were made. We hope you will come visit the fair and enjoy the atmosphere of each different antiquarian book.
