The rate shall be quoted in units FOR Eight Regional office in M.P. under the

clear L.R. freight prepaid; covered adequately by Insurance and must be

inclusive of Central & State Sales Tax; if any; levyable, excise duty and all

other taxes(GST etc.),without submission of form C & D and also inclusive of

cost of packing, handling and insurance charges. A transit insurance policy

to cover the damages loss, theft, etc. of the material shalbe taken in the

name of the Corporation.In the event of loss, supplier has to pursue the

claim with the Insurance Company for the recovery of the Compensation.

The approved rate will be valid for one year, it may be extended by four

month, if so desired by the corporation.

6- Guarantee The product shall be guaranted against disintegration and the deterioration for a period of 12 months from the date of manufacturing.

7- Packing The Supply should be strong enough to withstand rough handling in Transit.

8- Post Purchase Inspection

As per dispatch instruction. The material shall be inspected at the receipt point by the Committee constituted by head office to confirm the Specification.If such sample in the laboratory test/Inspection fail, the quantity supplied will have to be replaced with 10 % deduction from the Bill amount as penalty.If the sample is found to be in order, then MPWLC shall bear the cost of such test/Inspection otherwise the tenderer will have to bear such cost.

9- Security Deposit The successful tenderer shall be required to submit DD in favour of M.P.Warehousing & Logistics Corpn., as security deposit equal to 5% of total value of the order within 10 days of the issue of the order; failing which it shall be lawful for the Corporation to forfeit the earnest money and purchase the goods at the risk and cost of the successful tenderer.

10- Security Deposit The successful tenderer shall be required to submit DD in favour of M.P.Warehousing & Logistics Corpn., as security deposit equal to 5% of total value of the order within 10 days of the issue of the order; failing which it shall be lawful for the Corporation to forfeit the earnest money and purchase the goods at the risk and cost of the successful tenderer.

11- Pre Purchase

Inspection The material shall be offered for pre purchase Inspection within 15 days

since the issue of supply order. The Inspection Team constituted by head office shall visit for Pre purchase Inspection and on confirmation of material as per specification the dispatch instruction shall be Issued by head office. The cost of testing/inspection charges shall be born by the supplier.

12- Delivery Dispatches should be made only after confirmation is received from this Corporation that the material conforms to specification. After issue of dispatch orders the material should reach destination within 10 days of issue of dispatch order. In the event of non compliance of instructions penalty as per clause No.15 will be imposed after considering the cause of delay and the same shall be acceptable to the contractor and conclusive.

13- Payment 100% payment shall be released only after receiving receipt certificate and pre receipted bill from the consignee.

14- Validity of the offer The rate quoted in the tender shall remain open for acceptance without any modification in the rates or terms and conditions of tender for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of tender. In the event of any breach of this condition, without prejudice to any other right or remedy of the Corporation, the earnest money shall be liable to be forfeited.

15- Penalty

If the supplier fails to complete all the supplies within the stipulated period, the penalty shall be charged at the following rates in case of :- (a) Delay in information for pre-inspection of Material supply. (b) Delay in stock supply after issue of dispatch order. For both (a) & (b) above penalties shall be levied, if there is delay beyond schedule time in the following manner : (i) Delay of 7 days - 1% of value of quantity which is received late. (ii) Delay beyond 7 days and up to 14 days - 2% of value of quantity which is received late. (iii) Delay of more than 14 days: for every additional day 0.5 % additional penalty on the quantity which is received late. iv. Maximum penalty up to 10%

17- Agreement On issue of the acceptance of the tender, supplier has to execute an agreement on Non Judicial noterized Stamp paper of minimum value of Rs 1000/- appropriate value in the prescribed proforma within ten days of the issue of acceptance letter, failing which the amount of earnest money and security deposit will be forfeited.

On failure of Wooden crate in Inspection/test, the suppliers shall be allowed to re-offer the material within next 15 days and on failure purchase may be 'arranged by the MPWLC without any prejudice at the risk & cost of supplier.

If the services of supplier are found to be unsatisfactory with regard to quantity and quality, the corporation reserves the right to cancel the contract and forfeit the EMD, SD and Bill Amount.The supplier may also be BLACKLISTED If found necessary.

21- Arbitration In the event of any dispute in interpretation of the terms of this agreement/purchase order or difference of opinion between the parties on any of or in connection with the agreement or with regard to performance of any obligation hereunder by any party the parties hereto shall use their best efforts to settle such dispute or difference of opinion amicably by mutual negotiations. In case no agreement is reached, either party may forthwith give to the other a notice in writing of the existence of such question dispute or difference of opinion and the same shall be referred to the M.D. of the Corporation and the award of the Managing Director shall be final and binding on both the parties.

SPECIFICATION OF BAMBOO MATS

Description of stores Bamboo Mats Specification Best quality Bamboo Mats or Patera Mats or Palm leaves Mats

rectangular in shape of 1.524 Mtrs. X 0.914 Mtrs. (5' x 3') size with tolerance limit of + 15.24 cms (6") and -2.54 cms (1") in length and breadth respectively. The mats shall be made from best quality strips which are generally free from any insect attack, fungal attack, broken knot etc. The mats shall be flexible and sufficiently strong.

Weaving The mats shall be closely woven with minimal inter strip spaces as shown below. The free edges of all strips/leaves should be properly tucked in.

Packing The mats shall be bundled in multiples of 10, 20 or 25 nos. for easy accountability and handling.
