Meta-analysis > 1,000 cases: Summary relative risk = 4.6 (95% CI: 3.1–6.8) for anti-Vi; 5.0 (95% CI: 2.7–9.3) for bile or stool culture. Pheterogeneity=0.6 and = 0.2.
