Introduction
Who are WE?
Electromagnetic waves are transverse waves that contain magnetic and
electric fields and are able to travel as vibrations. EM don’t require any
medium to travel, but could travel thru one. These type of waves are
characterized because of being a wave but also acting like a particle.
Electromagnetic waves travel at a speed of 300,000m/s. in addition, there
are 7 types of electromagnetic spectrum.
Electromagnetic Spectrum Inc is a company created by Mateo, Martin,
Martina, and Alegria which provides a catalog. In this catalog you will be
able to find the different kinds of waves of the electromagnetic spectrum
that we sell to the users.
In this catalog you will be able to easily know and clarify what it is best
according to your company and point of view.
As a company we offer you the best options in radio waves, microwave
waves, infrared rays, visible light, ultraviolet light, X-rays and gamma
rays. All of this will satisfy your needs completely.

Radio Waves
Radio Waves offer a diverse range of reliable and innovative microwave
antennas. Radio waves have the longest wavelength and shortest frequency of
all EM waves. Radio waves can travel through a vacuum and air. Radio waves
are a type of electromagnetic radiation.
Frequency and wavelength
The wavelength is the distance from one peak of hi magnetic flux to the next,
frequency is inversely proportional. The distance a radio wave travels in one
second, in a vacuum, is 299,792,458 meters which is the wavelength of a 1
hertz radio signal. A 1 megahertz radio signal has a wavelength of 299.8 meters.
Our product offer an excellent data on transmissions, we can offer radio waves.
We have television, radios, wireless etc. we don’t included the antenna. This
only cost 20 dollars
Dangers:
Large doses of radio waves are believed to cause cancer, leukaemia and other
disorders.
5
Microwaves
Microwaves are located between radio waves and infrared rays in the EM
spectrum. This type of wave has the shortest wavelength and the highest
frequency of all radio waves.
Wavelength: is 1cm to 1mm
Frequency: is between 3x1010 HZ to 3x1011 HZ
Our product is a microwave that can be considered the best product in the
entire store. This microwave has the ability to make your solid and liquid
objects overheat or heat because this waves have the ability to penetrate your
food and cause water molecules vibrate. It could go thru plastic, glass and
ceramic thing so you can have your food heated. This microwave is a really
cool machine and would make you have no more cold meals in the day! SO
BUY IT NOW!!

Precaution: too much exposure could harm
your cells
6
Infrared Rays
Infrared rays are a type of electromagnetic spectrum which has a higher
frequency and shorter wavelength than those of microwave waves.
They have a specific wavelength and frequency which is different from all of the
others. It has a wavelength between 1mn and 0.740mn. In addition, it has a
frequency between 4.05x1014Hz and 3 x 1011 Hz
In our company, we offer this unique type of waves for different aspects which
will benefit your daily life.
You can use these types of wave in order to give off thermal radiation. We
recommend this for weather and astronomy because by taking this offer you
will able to take theograms in which the different temperatures of rooms or
things from the outer world could be visualized.
In addition, if you like television or videogames, we provide our infrared rays to
be used in remote controls in order to spend a good time.
Also, we recommend our infrared rays for toasters users. You could use this
type of waves and apply it in your toasters in order to have a delicious
breakfast meal.
If you want to part hard then you could also use infrared rays. This type of
wave will create a night vision things in which you will be able to see things on
the dark or also make glow in the dark materials.
Warning: being too close to our rays exposures might burn skin or
cause injuries.

Visible light Visible light has a shorter wavelength and a higher frequency than infrared
rays.
Wavelength: For a human is between 380 - 750nanometres and Visible light
wavelengths is from about 700 - 400 billionths of a meter.
Frequencies: between 4.05x1014 Hz - 7,90x1014 Hz
Buying this type of wave can bring you lots of interesting experiences and
feelings, by buying this type of wave it will give you a variety of different
colors. Our product gives you colors that are really essential in life because
you need color for everything! It makes you feel happy, especial and really
good! SO BUY IT NOW!!

Ultraviolet!!!!!!!! Buy these incredible rays for an incredible Price. These
awesome rays can provide you with vitamin D; this can
help you to your beautiful skin. If you are a policeman
and you want to catch the bad guys then here is your
solution, with this awesome ray you can use these like
black fluorescence light and the criminals behind bars. If
you have psoriasis then don’t worry any more this ray
can also cure you from these, a hundred percent sure. But
be carefully with this ways otherwise they can burn your
skin or even worst, cause skin cancer. This can also cause
damage of your eyes; if you don’t take care then you will
be blind. If symptoms persist consult your doctor
Wavelength: between 10 and 400 nanometers.
Frequency: 7.x1015 Hz to 3x1016 Hz.

X-Rays
X-radiation (composed of X-rays) is a form of electromagnetic radiation.
X-rays have a very short wavelength and a high frequency
Are able to penetrate most matter.
Other uses of it are :Airport security, Chemistry (X-ray crystallography),
Astronomy
This type of rays habe been very helpful for people. It is able to penetrate
most matter, you can used in medical situations to cure the client. the
most famous are called the x rays. Also this can help for the security in an
airport or a very important store.
This only cost 50 dollars
Wavelength and frequency
X-rays have a wavelength in the range of 0.01 to 10 nanometers, corresponding
to frequencies in the range 30 petahertz to 30 exahertz. Also λ between 0.01 nm
and 10 nm
[1 nm = 1 x 10-9 m]
Frequency between 3 x 1016 Hz and 3 x 1019 Hz.
Dangers:
Too much exposure can cause cancer.
10
Gamma Rays
This type of spectrum comes last in its order having the shortest
wavelength and higher frequency.
They have a specific wavelength and frequency which is different from all of the
others. It has a wavelength under 1 x 10-11. In addition, it has a total frequency
of 1 x 1019 Hz

Questions and comments
1. An engineer needs some electromagnetic waves to detect
cracks in the joints of an oil pipeline. Which types of waves
would you recommend? Explain your choice.
If an engineer needs electromagnetic waves to detect crack in an oil
pipeline, our company recommends our tremendous x-rays. We
recommend this efficient type of spectrum because of being able to
penetrate everything having a really huge amount of energy. In
addition, by choosing this you will be able to see thru the pipelines
and determine where the cracks are and how its structure is
formed.
2. A customer doesn’t believe your claim that electromagnetic
radiation does not need a medium. How could you prove that
your claim is true?
First of all we assure to all of our customers that our products are
real, good, and efficient. Furthermore if you don’t believe it, take a
look at the sun or at the remote control you use for the tv or playing
video games. Both of this features pass they energy that acts as a
electromagnetic wave without needing any type of medium. They
just pass by thru empty space either giving its energy in the suns
case or transferring the information of which channel to go in the
remote control case.
3. Your company just purchased 10,000 fireflies. Why do you
think your company would be interested in these
organisms? Justify your answer
Our company is interested in all of the things that surrounds us, we
try to be as unique and creative as possible.
In this case, we are interested in the 10,000 fireflies in order to
create a new product of ways of light without using the electricity.
Instead, we will use the fireflies and try to take care of the earth.
