NATIONAL FOOD AGENCY IMPLEMENTED CONTROL ON WINE TOGETHER WITH JOUR-NALISTS

On February 27, 2015 National Food Agency hosted media seminar, where state control mechanisms on wine control were presented to journalists. After media seminar media tour was organizes in one of the restaurants, where media repre-sentatives observed the process of inspection. Pouring and bottled wine were checked. Wine samples were sent to accredited laboratory for the survey on physicochemical parameters.

NATIONAL FOOD AGENCY CONDUCTED ANIMAL REGISTRATION AND VACCINATION PROCESS TOGETHER WITH JOURNALISTS

On March 12, 2015 National Food Agency hosted media seminar, where the Agency representa-tives presented to journalists the information, achieved results and planned works regarding to state program Epidemic Safety and Identifica-tion & Registration of Animals.

After the seminar, media tour was organized at Lisi Lake Teritory, where journalists observed the process of registration and vaccination of animals.

On April 3, 2015, National Food Agency hosted Public Hall meeting at Expo Georgia. Meeting was attended by representatives of NFA and non-governmental organizations, expert and scientific circles.

During the meeting following issues were discussed: new working format of the Hall, information about implemented and planned projects. Agency communication strategy and action plan were also presented to the Hall rep-resentatives.

NATIONAL FOOD AGENCY CELEBRATED WORLD HEALTH DAY

On April 7, 2015, National Food Agency hosted World Health Day, which, this year was dedi-cated to Food Safety. Event was organized in Mziuri Park.

Main messages of the Day worldwide are Store Food Properly and Follow Safety Rules. Pre-school personal, children and their parents took part in the event to actualize Food Safety issues and to increase population awareness.
