MAD SCIENTIST to Visit Story Laboratory Reading Night

PTA Sponsored Reading Night Thursday, April 24th 5pm to 8pm

C.T. Elementary School

Dr. David Willey, local Physics Professor at UPJ, will bring his world famous science experiments to Conemaugh Township. Labeled the “Mad Scientist” by Jay Leno from the Tonight Show, Dr. David Willey is an electrifying local celebrity. One might expect the job description of a physics instructor to include experimentation, but Dr. Willey takes that to the extreme! Risking life, limb, and sanity, Willey has put himself on the line for his love of physics. Whether he is walking on fire or climbing on a bed of nails, Willey isn't afraid to test the laws of physics -- literally! He believes that this experimentation is key to explaining difficult concepts to his college classes, and he has taken his message to students and teachers all over the nation. Mark the date on your calendar!!! It will be a hair-raising night!!!
