-Participated with a team from Australian Wheat Board (AWB) in the preparation of the necessary data and information for conducting feasibility and project appraisal of rolling stock freight transport for wheat transport by railway. Participated with WORLEY PARSONS - Australia in the design , technical specifications, drawings review ,

inspection and approval of Chinese built Rolling stock ; prototype of 2200 hp main line locomotive , 35t grain hopper and 45t multi-purpose flat wagons .

I worked as counterpart for Workshop machinery and plant maintenance with CPCS International team in Railway emergency recovery program for Sudan Railway Corporation. Conducted several pilot studies for improving work performance and efficiencies and reduce operating and running cost.

Set-up a Railway unit for freight transportation of wheat and flour for Sayga – DAL Group`s private food industry and prepared and managed the execution of the acquisition of four locomotives and 200 rolling stock fleet.

Conducted some lectures as part time lecturer at Red sea faculty of engineering for final year students and training workshops for young Engineers.

I participated in Project and contract management of acquisition of rolling stock , heavy equipments and materials supply international contracts from China, USA, Europe, Middle East, Asia and South Africa .Prepared technical specification, tendering process, supplier and contractor evaluation and selection, contract negotiation , inspection of Prototype and final acceptance, Errection , Installation , commissioning and testing. A source of information on a wide variety of topics, provide a high level of technical expertise, direct personnel service and highly technical advice. Identify problems, recommend solutions to these problems, and help when requested in the implementation of solutions .Identifying training and operational needs, enhance operational performance and plan and reorganize for the future.

Deals with anything relating to the ordering of rolling stock , infrastructure materials and equipments and supplies. Draw up purchase orders for the procurement of materials and service, determines if inventory quantities are sufficient for the needs of the company and orders more supplies as needed. Compiles requested materials and records preparing purchase orders, responding to customer and supplier inquiries, reviewing requisition orders to verify accuracy, specifications and terminology, and comparing prices, specifications and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers. Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files, report price lists, track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, locate suppliers, approve bills for payment, monitor contractor performance, calculate the cost of orders, charge or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts, and monitor in-house inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping records. Supervise other agents that work within the purchasing department; oversee other workers and delegating supplier accounts to specific agents and ensuring that each agent maintains ongoing contact with other departments at the company.Responsible for Planning, out - sourcing and coordinating procurement work load, for overall execution of providing materials and supplies to US$ 10 million per annum. .
