Dear sir, Recently our class has held a heated discussion on our new entrance examination programme. Opinions are divided into two parts. About 70% of the students support it. They think the new programme is quite popular with them and so far great progress has been made in it. What's more, it can balance all subjects, which makes students more interested in their studies. At the same time, students can choose their favourite subjects according to their own interests and hobbies.

However, about 30% of them hold the opposite opinion. The reasons are as follows. Firstly, students have to devote themselves to all subjects and therefore it is a heavy burden for students. Secondly, some students who fail in a subject are not admitted to universities. Besides, it is a little difficult for students and their parents to understand the programme completely.
