Environmental Policy

NEC Platforms Thai Company Limited will make harmony with the environment

one of its primary goals so that each individual within the company will act with

this in mind. Respect and reservation of the environment is our priority

1. The company shall produce personal communication products, projector products, electronic device and perform any activities, by giving care to minimize and prevent pollution for environmental preservation.

2. The company shall maintain and strengthen an environmental management, for continual improvement and pollution prevention, which shall be measured base on internal environmental audits of the company.

3. The company shall respects, adhere and comply to regional environmental legislation, regulations and other requirements to which the company subscribes.

4. The company shall encourage and promote the development of environmental programme and set up activity plan to achieve objective and target as well as periodically review them.

5. The company shall communicate the policy to and provide the environmental consciousness and appropriate education to all person working for or on behalf of the company to implemented, maintained and improve environment correctly.

6. The company shall contribute the availably environmental information to all person working for or

on behalf of the company and public as their requirement.

Mr. Hakaru Nishida, Managing Director of NEC Platforms Thai Company Limited received a

token appreciation and certificate on compliance with CSR-DIW Continuous Awards 2016 (Standard

for Corporate Social Responsibility, Department of Industrial Work : CSR-DIW) from Department of

Industrial Works at Grand Diamond Ballroom, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province on July 28,

Prevent of Global Warming

Electrical generation that impact to the environment at most. For instance electric current generation by use coal, fuel oil or natural

gas to be fuel that discharge poison to the environment such as CO2, CO, SO2, NO2 and dust etc., so the environmental surrounding

around power generation source and transform source to degenerate in a short time.

NEC Platforms Thai Company Limited aims to reduce resource usage from our business activities by reduce electricity-derived

CO2 emission 30.77% compare with FY‘09 within FY'16 at Factory 1. For the action to installation inverter control for control speed

motor and control water chiller volume of AHU at server room and meeting room at 2nd floor of Factory A, set up FM member for

monitor and control chiller system plant on night shift (Chiller, CHP, CDP, cooling tower), circulate tube condenser water chill of chiller

machine No.2, 3,4 etc.

Effective Utilization of Resources

Hazardous chemicals can be found in numerous products used in our daily life, for example, foods, medicines and others

chemicals for industrial uses. Especially industrial plant, the problem about chemical usage that do not only increasing quantity but

also impact to environmental surrounding to degenerate such land contamination, air pollution etc.

NEC Platforms Thai Company Limited aims to reduce resource usage from our business activities by reduce solvent usage

11.44% per unit of production quantity compare with FY'09 within FY16. For the action to evaluate new solvent for replacement of

solvent for pallet cleaning (Ethanol) and finger carrier cleaning of wave soldering machine (Solvent RC-101 : Water base), solder

dross recycle at projector package and in house, set up internal chemical monthly patrol and suggestion in each area etc.

Resource Recycling

Effective waste management needs to be implemented because it has been continuously increased waste. Reutilization is one of

the alternatives to reduce waste by taking garbage from one place to reuse at another places. At a result, waste can be reused as raw

materials.

NEC Platforms Thai Company Limited aims to recovery and recycling resource usage from our business activities by reduce

waste emission per unit of production quantity compare with FY'09 within FY'16. For the action to continue to use EC-78 for

replacement of sodium hydroxide usage at maintenance reflow machine process, continue to use dry cabinet machine for reduce

silica gel in IC room and PWB room, improve waste segregation and waste room (Focus to cleanness and clearly identify), promote to

reduce contaminate gloves in production line, promote to use recycle paper in office work and promote separate aluminum can to

donate for False Leg Foundation etc.

Promotion for Biodiversity

The NEC group understands the important role that biodiversity plays in building a sustainable society and places the highest

value on international charters and frameworks concerned with conserving biodiversity. We will do our very best to minimize the

impact of our business operations and the daily lives of our employees on local ecosystems and habitats, actively encourage our

employees to take part in biodiversity conservation activities, and develop and provide our customers with IT solutions that will help

conserve biodiversity.

NEC Platforms Thai Company Limited aims to conserve biodiversity from our business activities by enhancement to promote

social responsibility by MDD concept. For the action to set up blood donation activity every 3 months, NEC engagement project, NEC

Kathin Group activity and internal MDD activity etc.

NECPF-Thai Make a Difference Drive “Education”

On June 2016, NEC Platforms Thai Company Limited

set up annual fire evacuation practice 2016 to all

employees in order to employee to know how to take action

when its happen including recovery for minimize lost and

disasters.

On March 2017, NEC Platforms Thai Company Limited

set up environmental talk show for raising awareness to

employees.
