On November 12, M.V. Le He discharged the container

houses at the Burmese port.


unprecedentedly completed trial shipping of LNG

ISO tanks in China. On November 13, M.V. Le

Cong successfully discharged 130 LNG ISO

tanks in Longkou Port and Jinzhou Port.

On November 15, M.V. Da An loaded 48 pieces of

wind blades at the Indian port. The length of each blade

is 68 meters.


Carriers signed the 5+4 shipbuilding contract of DWT

62,000 multipurpose wood pulp vessels with COSCO

SHIPPING Heavy Industry.

Carriers loaded the SS-AMAZONIA drilling platform

at the anchorage ground of Guanabara Gulf in Rio De

Janeiro.

On December 14, M.V. Tian Fu completed the rescue

mission of British skipper Miss Susie Goodall.

On December 20, M.V. Feng Huang Song loaded the

first shipment of Indonesia high-speed trains in 12,792

CBM.

On December 18, M.V. Da De loaded steel pipe piles

in the Chinese port. Each pile has the length of 128

meters, the diameter of 2 meters, and the weight of

255 tons.

Sales progress of European marketing agents in Nov. 2018

In November, COSCO SHIPPING European sales agents developed the specialized cargoes markets in respective

countries for COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers.

1. COSCOS Italy Srl had fixed three contracts about 23500mt of steels ex China to Red Sea / Algeria and Italy to

India. They paid a closed attention to the global oil and gas projects of EPC in Italy during 2019 and 2020.

2. By the end of November, COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Spain) had canvassed 829,204 freight tons of shipments

this year, which completed 143% annual sales target, with a y-o-y growth ratio of 51.6%.

COSCO SHIPPING (Japan) Toho has significant sales achievements this year

During November, COSCO SHIPPING (Japan) Toho accompanied COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers to

visit respective Japanese clients for the cooperation matters related to semisubmersible vessels and multipurposed

vessel, the shipbuilding financing, the shipping business of pulp, fertilizer, and fodders, and the business expansion

of Arctic Shipping. By the end of November, COSCO SHIPPING (Japan) Toho had canvassed 527,683 freight tons

of shipments this year, which completed 132% annual sales target, with a y-o-y growth ratio of 64.5%.

From January to November 2018, COSCO SHIPPING Lines companies in China had canvassed

499,742 freight tons of Breakbulk shipments, which completed 56% of annual sales target, with a

y-o-y growth of 237%. In November, COSCO SHIPPING Lines Shanghai prompts COSCO

SHIPPING Specialized Carriers’ services of log carriers to the timer clients at Zhang Jia Gang

Port.

From January to November 2018, COSCO SHIPPING Logistics in China had canvassed 951,850

freight tons of Breakbulk shipments, which completed 68% of annual sales target, with a y-o-y

growth of 77%. COSCO SHIPPING Lines achieved a sales progress to canvass the shipments of

30,000 freight tons.

Pan Pacific Ocean Line comprises of domestic trade in China, and export & backhaul

business at Pan Pacific Ocean. The service areas for the export & backhaul shipping at Pan

Pacific Ocean region are from Far East (China, Japan, and South Korea) to Singapore, Malaysia,

Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippine, South Korea, Japan, and China’s Taiwan & Hongkong.

This line mainly operates DWT 16900 Heavy lift vessels, and DWT 19000 & DWT 22000

Multipurpose vessels.

We would like COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Karachi) to pay attention to the information of

second-hand cars exported from Japan to Pakistan, breakbulk and equipment imported and

exported through Gwadar Port, and Chinese-invested construction projects in Pakistan, establish

business cooperation relationship with Pakistan national shipping company, canvass breakbulk

and equipment which can be carried by our company’s vessels.

All Vietnamese agents please canvass steel, steel structure, wind tower, and other equipment

exporting from Vietnam to Southeast Asia countries and other developing countries.

This year, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers signed the agency agreements

respectively with the national COSCO SHIPPING branches of Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia,

Cambodia, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. These companies please canvass FOB imported

cargoes for our MPP vessels, and CIF exported cargoes for our Asphalt and Car carrier. Please

also canvass the cargoes from the third counties, shipping between Southeast Asia and India/

South America/Europe/Australia.

Suggestions for the sales agents in Persian Gulf region and India

It is recommended that all sales agents in West Asia assist our asphalt fleet to develop asphalt

shipping market in Middle East, especially in Kuwait. Specifically, Kuwait will host the 2020

World Cup, and we expect the imported demands for the bitumen will be increased in Kuwait.

Secondly, all West Asia agents please focus on shipping demands and shipment types between

West Asia and South America/Europe/Southeast Asia/Far East, and find the heavy-lifted shipping
