The table from the report of the technical inspectorate SENS, SWICO Recycling, SLRS 2011 indicates the complexity of todays systems. 75% materials of electronics and electronic goods are reused. 50% matals, 25% plastics mostly themal recycled. However 25% of waste remains and offers potential. The Cradle to Cradle approach improves the quality of rawmaterials in the closed loop and has the goal to eliminate waste.
